DNA Isn't What They Taught You - Dr. Carol Talbot

Listen or watch

In episode 618 of Soul Elevation, Dr. Carol Talbot and I discuss a key point we all need to consider: if the abilities we think of as extraordinary are actually part of our natural human potential.

Carol has spent much of her life exploring the edges of human potential, consciousness, frequency, DNA, and multidimensional intelligence.

I had an especially personal connection to this conversation because I had experienced Carol’s work myself before our interview. I received one of her multidimensional field scans, and the level of detail and accuracy was extraordinary. She shared very specific things about me that she could not have known from our interactions (especially considering we hadn't interacted when she did the report!), including things that connected with experiences and insights I had received years earlier but had not thought about recently.

What Is Multidimensional Intelligence?

Carol describes multidimensional intelligence as a new operating system for human potential. Her work brings together quantum morphogenetic physics, consciousness, frequency, embodied wisdom, and direct experience. Her own path into this work began with a lifelong curiosity about what human beings might actually be capable of.

As a child, she had vivid dreams of flying and wondered whether experiences that seemed impossible might somehow be possible in physical reality. That curiosity eventually led her to explore everything from fire walking to studying quantum morphogenetic science and physics.

Carol shared the fascinating story of how she came into her intuitive gifts. She had expected that if her intuitive abilities developed, they might look like traditional clairvoyance or clairaudience. But for her, things shows up in their own unique way. She describes it as a pre-language knowing. She doesn't see images or hear voices, she enters what she calls the zero point field, receives information as a knowing or frequency, and then translates that information into language. This is the basis of her multidimensional field scans.

Carol says that the challenge isn't necessarily receiving the information. The information can come very quickly. The time-consuming part is translating what she receives into a form that another person can understand and resonate with.

Intuition often doesn't arrive as a fully formed explanation. Sometimes we simply know something before we have the words to explain how we know it. Carol's work takes that concept into a deep level.

Here are more fascinating insights into her experiences:

DNA, Consciousness, and Human Potential

Carol uses the metaphor of a treasure chest to help explain DNA. We may have the key, but only a small portion of the chest is currently being accessed.

She refers to what is commonly called "junk DNA" as intron DNA, full of possibility and potential. DNA goes well beyond determining physical characteristics: it is a transmitter and receiver of consciousness.

Conditioning, programming, environmental influences, and other forms of distortion can affect our ability to access the larger field of consciousness available to us. She offered a powerful analogy: imagine a film strip with scratches running through it. When light passes through the damaged film, those distortions appear on the projected image. In the same way, our external reality reflects distortions that may exist within us. Working with our inner patterns means more than changing our thoughts. We must expand our capacity to access more of our own consciousness, intuition, creativity, innovation, and wisdom.

It's important to understand the distinction between what exists and what we have the capacity to access. Carol compares multidimensional fields to diving into deep water. The depth is already there. But if you don't have the capacity to withstand the pressure, you can't go into the depths.

She sees human consciousness in a similar way. Intuition, knowledge, creativity, innovation, and wisdom already exist within the larger field, but our ability to experience and embody them depends on our capacity. For this reason, she advises gradual shifts rather than trying to force ourselves into a radically different state of consciousness overnight. You don't just want to experience a higher frequency. You want to be able to hold that frequency.

Frequency, Identity, and Shifting Timelines

Carol describes each person as having a baseline signature frequency. It's not just one frequency, but a combination of frequencies that creates what she calls our "playground." Within that playground, certain people, experiences, opportunities, and circumstances resonate with us. When our frequency changes, our playground changes. And that means our experiences can change too.

Carol also connects frequency with identity. The story we tell ourselves about who we are helps stabilize the frequency we're operating from.

Carol suggests looking toward the optimal timeline you want to move into and asking: Who would I need to become to live there? What identity supports that reality? What story would I need to embody?

The future then becomes a reference point for the present, rather than something passively waiting for us. It also then is not dependent on who we have been in the past. It opens up possibilities.

Carol advises that timeline shifting is both a metaphor and reality. At one level, shifting timelines describes a very tangible change in the trajectory of our lives. When we change our identity, frequency, choices, and perception, different opportunities become available to us. But timelines are also something deeper, connected to probabilities and possibilities within the quantum field.

The important point isn't necessarily trying to intellectually prove every possibility. It's recognizing that our perception influences what we notice, what we choose, and which possibilities we allow ourselves to pursue. If you are operating from an identity that says, "This is just who I am," your choices will reinforce that identity. But when that identity changes, the range of possibilities change with it.

The Multidimensional Field Scan

Carol describes the multidimensional field scan as providing a kind of satellite view of a person's energetic landscape. Instead of walking through life in the dark, repeatedly tripping over the same obstacles, you begin to see the patterns that have been influencing your experience. Carol's work identifies things such as karmic and ancestral patterns, timeline possibilities, frequency, identity, and other aspects of the multidimensional field.

I experienced this personally, and this is one reason I was so excited to have Carol on the podcast. The information I received in my own scan was incredibly specific. Some of it confirmed things I already knew about myself, while other pieces connected dots I hadn't previously connected. I could see my own landscape from a much broader perspective.

Carol shared that she has undertaken some extraordinarily intense experiences in her own exploration, including extended periods of darkness, fasting, and her journey into what she describes as pranic nourishment or Breatharianism. But she was very clear that these aren't things to approach casually.

In fact, one of the most practical messages she shared was that we don't need to undertake extreme experiences to begin expanding our awareness. She suggests starting much more simply.

Can you hold one coherent, positive thought for 10 or 15 seconds?

Can you become still?

Can you quiet the constant stream of mental activity?

Can you spend time in nature?

Can you breathe consciously?

Can you step away from social media and the constant noise of the outside world?

These simple practices can begin bringing us back into coherence. Coherence is our internal alignment. Resonance is our relationship with the world around us. She describes us as energetic beings with an energetic signature. When our thoughts are scattered and our emotions are fragmented, the signal we're sending out is also fragmented.

Expanding the Human Experience

My conversation with Carol lefgott me thinking about how much of human potential we may take for granted. We are taught to define ourselves by what is already known, measurable, and familiar. But what happens when we become curious about what lies beyond those boundaries?
