625. Potent and Powerful Eclipse Energies | Between the Solar and Lunar Eclipses

I'm reflecting on the energies I am experiencing as we are in this eclipse window. I've had a couple of days this week that have seemed truly strange, where reality itself has felt very peculiar. I've also noticed recurring themes. As I share my own experience, feel into your own life and notice what has been different for you. As you go along in your own life, it can be easy to get caught up in the day to day and not zoom out to take in the bigger picture. Major planetary events like eclipses are important opportunities for reflection and observation of what is happening in your life.

00:00:00,000 --> 00:00:08,000
Welcome to Soul Elevation: Guiding Your Ascension to New Heights. I'm your host, Kara Goodwin. I'm so happy to be here with you today on Friday, August 21st, 2026. Today, we are in the ... As I'm recording this, we're in the window of two eclipses, so we're kind of in an eclipse season. We had a total solar eclipse for those in certain parts of
the world, in, um, Europe, for example. That was a week ago, and then in a week we will have a, a total lunar eclipse. And eclipses are powerful times, and the pa- the, uh, the time in between eclipses is a very potent time. And I've just been reflecting on how I've been experiencing this, and I wanted this to be the topic for today because I

1
00:01:00,000 --> 00:01:08,000
want you to have an opportunity to reflect in your own life how things might be showing up. Because it's really easy when we're in our own life. We've got things that we do every day. We've got demands. We've got things that need to get done. And so basically we ... I mean, I don't wanna say we become distracted. That is part of it, but we just ... We're living. And so anything
that shows up, it's just what is happening at the moment, and it can be, um, a practice to zoom out and to say, "Okay, what has been happening in my life? Let me zoom out 50,000 feet so that I can really reflect on what's been happening and have the opportunity to relate that to something bigger that might be behind it." And the way that this is showing up for me, it has been a

2
00:02:00,000 --> 00:02:08,000
really strange time. Um, in the whole span of my life it's been a particularly unusual time. Uh, my son went to college. My oldest went to college. Um, we dropped him off last weekend and, you know, it's the first time that one of my kids has flown the nest. And, you know, of course we knew that that was coming. I've known his whole life that at some point he was gonna leave.
But when you're actually in that, it's a very specific, nostalgic, reflective, sad, proud, happy, you know, excited There are all these things. And a lot of people have asked me in my personal life, you know, "How have ... How are you doing? How do you feel with your son being gone?" And, um And my response is frequently, you know, I feel a lot of things all at once you know? And

3
00:03:00,000 --> 00:03:08,000
especially those first, the first day or two or three, um, it was just a lot of the same, um, a lot of emotions that kind of contradicted each other. You know, a lot of things like I'm so happy that he has this opportunity, I'm happy that he gets to experience this, and I'm sad that he's gone. I wish that he was still here. I wish he never had to leave, but I'm so glad that he is, you know, moving, uh, moving forward in his life and having these opportunities.
I know how much I loved college, and I'm really excited that he gets to have that opportunity now. And I want him home. I wanna see him all the time, you know? And, and I wanna talk to him. And so, a- and those are, you know, seemingly contradictory things to think, and I feel them at the same time, you know? And so that's, that's kind of unusual. Typically, we, we might have more neutral e- emotions that we're used to, or we just kind of focus on

4
00:04:00,000 --> 00:04:08,000
one thing at a time, you know? We're kind of feeling one emotion at any given time. So that's been, it's been a different experience for me. Beyond that, um, I have had a couple of days this week that have just felt very strange, and it's gonna be hard for me to put into words how they felt. But it felt like I was in reality, but also
it didn't feel very real. And there wasn't, like, a specific thing that happened where I was, that I can point to and say, "Here, let me walk you through exactly what this was like." But it was about a day and a half to two days where I really felt like- There was, like there is some sort of, sort of code in reality, and it, it just

5
00:05:00,000 --> 00:05:08,000
felt very not real. And, and again, it wasn't like something traumatic had happened and I couldn't wrap my head around it. This was just me living in the every day, but having this very strong sense of this reality being an illusion, and it almost be- I was alm- I was gonna say it almost felt like a joke, but it felt like, um... You know what it reminds
me of? I interviewed, I've i- interviewed Franco Romero a couple of times, and in those, I can't remember now if it's w- the first one or the second one. I'll try to remember to link both of them into this live stream so you can dive into those. They're very worth fi- worthwhile. Very, very excellent conversations. But Franco sees this reality as a

6
00:06:00,000 --> 00:06:08,000
game, and he ta- and he uses that analogy, but I, if I remember correctly, even in our interview he was Talking about that like it, it, not even as an analogy, but like we are literally in a game. Each one of us designed our own game, and it's... The, the point is to wake up from this game, to realize it's a game, and then to kind of come into your power to be the creator.
And, and I, it... And Franco's not the first person I've heard relate to life in that way. Some people relate to life as a game. Some people relate to life as a school. Some people relate to it as a prison. So, you know, there are different analogies that people make, and all of them feel true in a certain way. But the way that Franco talked, it, I mean, just again, trying to

7
00:07:00,000 --> 00:07:08,000
find the words to explain how I was feeling and, and try to relate it, it just felt like this reality is 100% a game. And it f- just felt like, um, I, you know, not to take away from the reality of our experience, but it really felt like that reality of our experience, how we experienced reality, was very, like, surface. One of the ways that this felt that way
was that death felt like nothing. I mean, it felt like you literally are just, like the physical aspect of you is taken away, but, but you absolutely carry on, and that it, it's like the reality, the layer of reality, the veil, let's say the veil was stretched really thin. Very thin. Where it was like, okay, this is still, like I can see st- I can still see

8
00:08:00,000 --> 00:08:08,000
physicality, I can still see the r- the manifest reality of physicality. But E- everything else was almost palpable. So anybody who had passed on, that illusion of death, it was like, oh yeah, the body drops away, but they're still accessible, they're still here if they wanna be here. Um, and it was just very matter-of-fact. And it... And I understand
those concepts always in my mind and as a belief system, so it wasn't like these were huge revelations in terms of my intellect, but it was like a, a, an embodied understanding of reality of just like, oh yeah, death doesn't mean anything. And not that I want to die, not that I want anybody that I love to die, but just that reality of, of death as an

9
00:09:00,000 --> 00:09:08,000
example of, yeah, that's not... It's not real. You know? We... Yeah, you, you lose the physical body, you lose the physical experience, but you continue on as a soul, and you can still be here in this earth plane and interacting with this physical realm, and you have access to other, other parts of the universe and creation And, uh, so
that was... It wasn't particularly... I wouldn't call that, that experience that I went through disorienting, but it was a noticeably different experience for me of walking through this world and the way that I felt. So I hope that I've been able to convey that well enough that it's, um, you c- that you can kinda get a sense of how that

10
00:10:00,000 --> 00:10:08,000
was, how that felt for me. Um, another thing with this particular eclipse is that I have been part of this, this summit that is called the How Art Heals Summit, and I think there were about eight presenters in this summit. And the way that it... And I'll try to remember to put a link also to this summit in the show notes, because if you have not watched this
summit, I highly recommend that you watch it. But I watched every presentation. She released two presentations a day, Monday to Thursday, and then today on Friday you can... All, all the presentations are accessible. So I think you can still register and watch all of them. But all of the presenters were fantastic. It was a really... Everybody brought such

11
00:11:00,000 --> 00:11:08,000
expertise, and more than that, I felt a lot of them were bringing different activations. Activations were something that I talked about on Monday in my livestream, so if that word is not familiar to you, you may wanna go back. I'll, again, I'll try to remember to link that into the show notes. Hopefully I'll remember all these. Um, but activations, I feel that a lot of people, not only were they bringing information for
the intellect that was new, I guarantee you will learn new things through the material in this How Art Heals Summit. But they were also bringing things that ignited energetically new things. And what I've really loved about it is that there were, again, there were, like, eight speakers, eight presentations, and there were different expertise. Like, I was a speaker in this talking about sacred geometry, and I was talking

12
00:12:00,000 --> 00:12:08,000
about my experience with sacred geometry. And first of all, it's interesting that I was invited into this summit because I would not really... I wouldn't call myself, quote-unquote, an artist. I love that world. I love to create. I love sacred geometry, and I do spend time drawing and dr- whether it's sacred geometry, whether I'm doing drawings and things like that. But, um,
but I'm not really... Like, that's not the big focus of the how I work with people necessarily. I do have knowledge in sacred geometry and I, I have, like, my course in how to learn sacred geometry and so forth. But The, but all of us, some of them were very, very deep in the art world, and had amazing experience and expertise, and had studied it and gotten, you know, this

13
00:13:00,000 --> 00:13:08,000
ama- these different, uh, degrees and so forth in different types of art. But what was really fascinating with it was that these eight speakers, none of us knew who else was going to... Oh, somebody's saying apparently a big solar flare has just come in. Ooh, that gave me, uh, big chills. Thank you for sharing that. Yeah, I'm not, I'm not surprised, but, but that's amazing timing. Um, so when I, when
I accepted to be in this summit, I didn't know who else was gonna be there. I knew one other person who was one of the speakers and, and I was a- that was actually somebody that I recommended, and I had put the organizer in touch with this person. Um, but everybody else was new to me, and I didn't know what anybody else was gonna talk about. And our presentations were all pre-recorded, so I recorded my

14
00:14:00,000 --> 00:14:08,000
talk weeks ago, and everybody else did, too. And then it just came out on Monday, Monday through yesterday. And we... So nobody knew what anybody else was gonna talk about, and I have a feeling that the organizer of this, you know, just was kind of, maybe kind of practical in terms of how she, you know, who she picked for which day and, you know, these two are gonna go on the first day and these two. I don't know that she really
was trying to line up the topics in a specific way, and the reason that I say that is because I have hosted these summits in the past. I've hosted, like, three or four summits, and there are a lot of practicalities to put them together, and it's really easy to get into the detail and not really be super strategic in terms of, like, okay, well, we talked about sacred geometry on day three, so I'm gonna have another person, like, I'm

15
00:15:00,000 --> 00:15:08,000
gonna wait for two more presentations before somebody talks about sacred geometry again. That's an example, but typically it's more intuitive and you're just kind of, you know, you're it- And also, anyway, just what I know about how that works. I'd be surprised if she was really in the gr- nitty-gritty detail trying to organize the speakers in a certain way. But the way that it turned out
It was like this big tapestry was created. And so you'd have people like somebody talking about color and color therapy and how the colors relate to the chakras, and then the next day you'd have somebody else who had their expertise that related to color who reinforced what the first speaker had talked about relating to color, but then brought new insights that were complementary to what had

16
00:16:00,000 --> 00:16:08,000
already been shared. Wasn't really repeating what the first person had talked about, but brought their own infusion and their own perspective, but that beautifully complemented what the first speaker had talked about. This happened over and over again. It happened with my own presentation where the person who had gone before me was talking a little bit about sacred geometry, and she was like, "Well, you're not necessarily gonna see like standard sacred geometry in my paintings, but you might see like a circle. And
that is also sacred geometry, but we don't think about it as sacred geometry." So she's kind of making that point, and then you get to my presentation. I'd kind of forgotten exactly what I had talked about. I knew it was about sacred geometry, but even when I watched it, I was, I, I was kind of like remembering as I'm listening to it, oh yeah, I did, I talked about that and I took it in that direction and so forth. But I'm reinforcing what the previous speaker talked about without knowing that's what she was gonna

17
00:17:00,000 --> 00:17:08,000
talk about, where I'm saying, okay, there are, you know, you can... What sacred geometry is, there are a lot of different ways to define it. I don't wanna limit it, and, you know, there are these standard sort of geometries and mandalas can be thought of as sac- as sacred geometry. But it's not even like that precise. It's, it's bigger than that. And so- It was beautiful. This happened over and over again, where different speakers were saying different
things. There was a musician artist who had talked a lot about solfeggio tones and frequencies, and was giving numbers of the frequency. And then the next speaker was talking about sacred geometry, and she's talking about the frequencies, like reinforcing a lot of the numbers that the last presenter had talked about. But again, having no idea that anybody else was talking about these frequencies and going into the numbers and so forth. So when

18
00:18:00,000 --> 00:18:08,000
I was taking in all of this content all week... And these presentations are, are very manageable. You know, they range between like 35 minutes and an hour or a little over an hour. Um, so they're very... Like if you wanna sign up for this, it's very manageable. But, but I think that the presentations are only available for another couple of days, so be sure you register How Art Heals and
get into the content as soon as you can. But what is just so beautiful is to see the divinity, the divine orchestration of this big tapestry where all of the speakers were bringing forth this information. They were... We were all bringing our part, but we were like reinforcing things and complementing things, and it was like this beautiful, harmonious, coherent picture that was created

19
00:19:00,000 --> 00:19:08,000
And it was so organic. It was really, really beautiful and divine. And, and I've hosted... Like I said, I've hosted these summits before, and I've seen this happen in real time from the presenter's perspective or the organizer's perspective, where it was like... I mean, where I've experienced the same thing, where there are just these beautiful, quote unquote, coincidences or, um, synchronicities where I'm
not trying to make things so harmonious. I'm not trying to make them disharmonious, but they're just coming about and aligning in a way that is really beyond my control and beyond even what I could have hoped for. So that coherence, that harmony, that is another aspect of my experience of this, uh, eclipse window. And so like I said, I just wanted to share these things because I wanna give you the opportunity

20
00:20:00,000 --> 00:20:08,000
to step back in your own life and your own experience and to say, "Are there themes that are being shown? Are there places that, where I'm feeling particularly challenged? Are there places where I'm feeling particularly, um, stretched in a new way? Are there places where I'm being shown the divine hand at work?" My guess is even if you haven't realized it yet, that is showing up for you right now. And we're about halfway
through this eclipse season, so this is a good time if you haven't started paying attention yet to pay attention. You might wanna put pen to paper and start and do some journaling. Let the, let your own creative force flow through to help illuminate within you things that you might wanna be paying attention to in particular during this time.
