planet, we are equipped with some really amazing abilities, and a lot of times these abilities are not awakened. We go through life not really tapping into them because that is the world that we live in, for better or worse. So our mainstream society, we really,

um, value and really prioritize the, the traditional five senses. Hearing, seeing, tasting, touching, and smelling. But we have other senses beyond that, and it's natural for people to think that some people have these abilities, that they're rare, and if they're not able to use them in the same way that they can touch something and
immediately get that feedback, that they don't have those skills. But the thing is, with these other pieces of our technology that the... of the human technology, of our biological technology, because they have been underdeveloped and they haven't been utilized as a part of our regular functioning in mainstream society, they're very subtle

for most people. It doesn't mean that it's not accessible for people or that not everybody has these abilities. That's not true. This is part of our makeup. That's why I'm calling it the human technology, because we are gifted. It is part of our biological makeup. But It is much subtler than our other senses. Now, it's interesting that
we only acknowledge five senses as in a, a human being, but you know you have other senses. I mean, think about how do you know when it's time to eat? Because you have a, a sensation of hunger. How do you know when you need to take a drink? You have a sensation of thirst. How do you know when you're tired? You, you sense that you're

tired. You feel it. These are all senses that you are equipped with. You know the signals, and you respond to the signals. When you get those hunger feelings, you take care of it. You go and eat. When you feel that your body temperature is hot, you will feel the heat. You will feel yourself start to sweat. So these are all
ways that our human technology is moderating and communicating to us. It's managing what our human being needs in order to maintain itself, in order to survive, in order to stay comfortable. You're constantly getting feedback, and you recognize those signals just by virtue of being human. And there are other signals that you're

getting that you may not be paying attention to. And so our human guidance system, when we start talking about things like intuition, the way that the soul is speaking to you. So if we think about, um, things like the, the internal guidance of our hunger system, our thirst, our sleep, those are physical ways
that our body is communicating to us, and it's directing us. It's signaling to us. Time to eat, time to sleep, time to take a drink. So your soul also uses your human vessel to communicate. And so your soul speaks very quietly. Your soul doesn't shout usually. And so it will give you little whispers. It will

give you c- But it's still communicating to you. But if you're not tuned into it or if you dismiss it, then you're gonna miss it because this is not... It's not as In your face as when somebody is shouting something at you, or when you touch something hot and you get that immediate strong feedback, "That's too hot.
Don't touch that. Get your hand off it right away." Your body just instantly responds, reacts. But when you are getting these soul whispers, it's up to you to tune into them and to value them and to connect with them. And so a lot of times because the soul communication is subtle, it... the c- the signals go, um,

unnoticed. So your soul is constantly talking to you, communing to you. One of the ways that it does that is through your emotions. So you can have interactions with people, and you might be getting emotional responses as you move through your day, as you move through your week, where you feel
things. And if you're on a spiritual path, just be careful because there are some schools of thought who are teaching that, um, in order to advance spiritually, you have to overcome your emotions. And this is... It's not untrue. There is an aspect of that. There is an aspect of truth to that

because we don't want to be reacting all the time to life. We want to be able to be the driver of our life, and if we're constantly just flying off the handle, getting angry, and it's all ego-based, and we are... You know, that, that's not healthy. We're, we're creating toxicity wherever we go because
we're, you know, we're letting our emotions be on overdrive. But we also don't want to be suppressing our emotions because we think that we're so evolved that we don't feel things like being hurt or being angry or being disappointed. And that can also lead to toxicity in terms of spiritual bypassing or just

undervaluing, um, ourselves, where we let ourselves be walked on and we won't acknowledge that we don't like the way that it makes us feel. We might want to see ourselves as martyrs Where we enjoy in, on some level that we are, um, taking on, you know, all of these, these negative things that are happening, but we're not reacting to them. Again, it's all a balance, but if we are... For example, if
somebody is mistreating us and we are feeling angry or we're feeling sad or we're feeling like we don't wanna be around that person, that's a signal. And maybe it is, maybe this relationship has run its course. Maybe the friendship has run its course. Maybe it's a colleague that you are better off avoiding, or whatever the situation might be. But if you're getting these signals, your stomach hurts

when you're around them, your throat feels blocked, you feel, um... You just don't feel good about yourself, you feel small, you feel anxious, and you recognize that it's always when you're around a certain person, that is a signal that something needs to change there. And if you feel that you can't feel those feelings, that they're, uh, they're lower feelings, you don't want to feel sad, you don't want to
feel angry, you don't want to feel like you're not accepting somebody for how they are and you're overriding it, then you are overriding that internal communication system. You've shut off a part of you that is signaling to you, it- to a certain extent, that there is danger there, that that is not a good situation for you, that you are better off in a different dynamic. Whether it's that you finally stand

up for yourself and that person knows that you're not gonna take that anymore, and you draw a line, and you say, "Okay, well, we don't... You know, we can still be friends or we can still continue on, but not like this. This is the boundary, and we will only remain connected if you respect this boundary." And it's not something that you even necessarily have to say, but it's up
to you to figure out how to navigate that, what you're willing to tolerate. So that's one example, our emotions. And if we are denying our emotions, then we're denying part of our human technology. We're not utilizing fully the human technology. Now, emotions can feel pretty strong if we allow them to, but our intuition can be even quieter than that, even subtler than that. And so

it really takes us having the willingness to get quiet and get to know ourselves- So that we can be able to pick up on the signals, because it can be so quiet that it's a, a sensation of a, a lifting in the heart or a dropping. Like if you tune into your heart, but you can't be going a million miles an hour and be able to tune into your
heart. It's something that you need to sit down, you need to close your eyes, you need to breathe, you need to let the breath be moving in and out of the belly, and then bring the awareness down to the heart and feel into the heart and notice if there is a sensation. Like a lifting sensation for me, that would be like a yes, that would

be an affirmative, that would be like a, an acceptance, whatever. You know, th- and this could apply to a billion different things, so you have to kinda translate what's going on with you. But that would be kind of an affirmative. And then like a sinking or a closing feeling in the heart would be a signal, in my world,
of a no. And so but in order to even perceive that, we have to be willing to relax, to prioritize some quiet time, prioritize some alone time, and it also may not be something that comes to us right away. It may be something that develops over time. So if you have never meditated before or you don't meditate regularly,

maybe you are interested in spiritual development, but it's really more of you've- you're reading a lot of books, you're consuming a lot of podcasts, you're, you're learning with your rational analytical mind about things. That is a step on the process. That's a step on the path for people. But if you're still only using your logical mind, then you still have
more openings and awakenings to come, because our spiritual development is not analytical. So I personally, I love to read, I love to watch, uh, you know, podcasts and it... that are aligned with what I'm interested in. My analytical mind and my rational mind loves that, and it... honestly, it only takes you so far. It's you have to have the lived experience,

and the lived experience can come through things like meditation, things like c- bringing your awareness. Like stop Going, you know, outside. Like, what's outside of the body? Like, what are the books? What are the, the... Where- what's the content? What are the teachers? Who, or who are the teachers? What are the, the classes I can take? Again,
those all have merit, but that's, that's the analytical mind. You, you've got to make time to come inside and to really, like, just not take anybody else's, um, word for it, and come in and feel within yourself what is happening inside. That is how you develop the true skills to be able to know, like, what is a yes for you, what is a no for you. And

so you may have to take some time to learn how to quiet your mind, and to learn how to even bring your attention into your heart to be able to feel that. It's just something that comes with time and with practice, but everybody can do it. And so there's a lot of communication that happens through the heart center. But there's, um... I had a guest on the podcast, this episode hasn't come out
yet, but, a, a guest named Sean McNamara, McNamara. And he, he teaches things like, um, mindsight. You know, seeing with a blindfold on. And he's interested in telepathy, he's interested in remote viewing, and all of these things. And so I was trying to ask him how he perceives when he gets perceptions that he can't see with his eyes. So what do his clairvoyant, you know, his, his inner sight,

what do those visions look like for him? Because for some people, when they're doing mindsight, for instance, this is where they have a blindfold on, but they're actually seeing things that their eyes w- you know, they're... So I, I went to a workshop when I was in Sedona, and people were holding things up. This woman had bandages over her eyes. She had a thin blindfold on. She had another blindfold on over that that had, like, tape over the bridge of the nose so that no light could
possibly... There was, like, zero, zero light coming in, and she's been able to, like, measure this with equipment as well, that there's zero light coming in. And it took her... You know, she couldn't do it straight away. She had to give it time. But it... She s- was saying it's like a window opens up, and then she can see whatever she wants to see. So people were holding things up. Some people were holding up, like, a, a phone, and it had a picture of their cat, and she's describing the cat.

Somebody else was holding up this random cough drop bag that was, like, cut into the shape of, like, a house, which is very strange, but she was so specific. She's like, "Are you holding up a cardboard house that's pink?" And so, um, anyway, for her, it's like a window opens up in her mind, and anywhere where she places her attention, she can see f- she... It's like she's using
her physical eyes, but it's not her physical eyes. So I was trying to ask him if it was like, like, what it was like. Does he look and see his, uh, like, a window open up? And he explained it. I loved this analogy. He said it's like if you have... If you're in front of a body of water and you take a stick and you, um, you swipe the stick through the water, you make a line in the

water, it just opens, like, it kind of opens the water for, like, a split second, and then it closes right back up. But you can kind of see that line in the water form for just, you know, it just trails behind the stick just, like, a second and closes back up. But you can kind of see the line in the water before it closes back up again. And I was like, "What a great analogy," because this is how subtle the communication
can be. It can be like writing on water, and you have to be tuned into it in order to just get the flashes. Because the thing is when spirit is communicating to you, when your higher self is communicating to you, they don't have the physical body. They're not in our physical world. They're able to interact with us, but they have to use the tools at their disposal. So when you're interacting with another physical

human, they can touch you. They can speak to you. They have the physical ex- they have the physical makeup within themselves to be able to speak to your five senses. But spirit is out of body. They don't have a vo- a voice box. They don't have, um, you know, a body to, that, that reflects light the same way that our bodies
do here. They are working within a different physical, uh, within different physical laws and different physical makeup. Your guides may be light bodies. They may not have energetic bodies even the way that we expect. So it's up to us to be able to meet them, meet those messages- With the other skills that we have within

ourselves, and that can take some training because we have to be able to read, hear, s- see very subtly. So what I wanna drive home is that this is within you. It just takes you learning it. It's just like, um, you may have a piano at your house, but you've never been taught how to utilize it. So you could, you know, wonder why it's not making
beautiful music because you know pianos can make beautiful music, but only... maybe only some people's pianos can make beautiful music because you've never heard your piano make beautiful music. And it's like, well, your piano is also capable of making beautiful music, but it's up to you to learn how to use it. Same thing with your physical body. Your

physical body is capable of connecting and communicating with you and helping you through your life. You can have direct access to guidance from your higher self. Everybody can, but it's up to you to develop those skills, and step one is giving yourself the time and the space to get to know yourself. you get a meditation practice. It doesn't have to be fancy. It doesn't have to be complicated. If you have no idea where to start or you just want some support from me, I needed support.
