Age of Disclosure Documentary - Watch It, But...
The conversation around UFOs, extraterrestrial life, and government disclosure continues to move further into the mainstream. For those of us who have been interested in these subjects for years, it's really fascinating to watch information that was once dismissed, ridiculed, or hidden begin to enter the public conversation.
The Age of Disclosure documentary is part of that movement. Featuring government, military, intelligence, and other insiders discussing what they know about unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs, aka UFOs) and nonhuman intelligence (NHI), the documentary presents itself as an important step toward greater transparency.
There is certainly information in the documentary that is worth considering and parts that felt in some way liberating to be acknowledged. But as I watched it, I found myself paying just as much attention to the messaging as I did to the information being offered. And that is the focus of episode 633 of Soul Elevation. And important part of "disclosure" is WHO is sharing the information, WHAT they are saying about it, and the FEELINGS and BELIEFS those messages are invoking into those receiving the messages.
The Age of Disclosure Documentary and the Fear Narrative
Throughout Age of Disclosure documentary, you can notice a repeating theme of national security. Again and again, the conversation reinforces the idea that these phenomena represent a threat to humanity. We are told that the technology involved is far beyond what humans are capable of. We do not know exactly who or what we are dealing with. The phenomena is only explored through the lens of defense, military preparedness, and vulnerability.
When you hear a message repeated over and over again, it is wise to step back and ask what that message is trying to accomplish.
Fear has always been an effective tool for influencing human behavior. If people believe they are facing an existential threat, they are more willing to give up power, privacy, resources, and autonomy in exchange for the promise of protection. It can be easy for people to feel powerless and overwhelmed and hand the authority completely over to the government and military to solve this "problem" on their behalf, when the reality is we have enough historical context at this point to realize that is a ruse and those agencies have already shown they will not responsibly or honorably use such power for the true greatest good.
Discernment is so incredibly important in the disclosure conversation. It's not simply about whether the information is true. There may be elements of truth within the information being shared. The bigger question is, does the narrative represent the whole, accurate picture?
Are we being herded into viewing every unknown through fear? Are we, laughably, being told we need to trust the same systems that have historically withheld information from the public? This documentary talks about of both sides of its mouth. The backbone of the narrative is that there is a secret arm of the government that is withholding information and calling all the shots, to the detriment of humanity, while at the same time asking us to trust them because the "good guys" within the government are going against the directive of the secret element and WE SHOULD TRUST THEM. All the while, the slightest bit of common sense tells us none of these authorities in the documentary are revealing anything beyond what the powers that be in the shadow government would allow.
These are questions worth asking.
Who Is Controlling the Disclosure Narrative?
The people featured in the Age of Disclosure documentary are presented as insiders, individuals with military, intelligence, government, and institutional connections who are sharing information that has been hidden from the public. It's worth considering a closer thought about where this information is coming from. Much of the modern disclosure movement continues to be filtered through government and military institutions, and these institutions have a primary framework for understanding the unknown in terms of defense and security.
But is that an accurate lens from which to consider ET contact?
For decades, people around the world have reported encounters, sightings, telepathic communication, spiritual awakenings, healing experiences, and profound shifts in consciousness connected to contact experiences. These experiences are often in direct conflict with the military and national security framework. Contactees in many cases report an overwhelming sense of love and receive deep healing from their encounters. There doesn't seem to be a lot of evidence from regular contacts that these ETs are looking to take over. And, the military themselves admit the ET technology they have witnessed far and away surpasses what humans are capable of creating - they are, in fact, centuries ahead of our technology. So, if they wanted to take over our planet they would have already done it a long time ago.
The growing number of civilians who have had their own experiences means that official, governmental disclosure is no longer the only (or even primary, in my opinion!) source of information available. People are simply no longer waiting for a government announcement to tell them what reality is. Many people already have their own experiences to draw from.
Personal Experience Changes the Conversation
There are people who have seen unusual objects in the sky. There are contactees with direct encounters. There are experiencers who report telepathic communication, energetic activations, visions, downloads of information, and profound spiritual transformation.
I am one of those people.
Over the years, I have had my own experiences that have contributed to my understanding of a reality that is far larger than what we are typically taught to believe. I have seen unusual activity in the sky and have had experiences involving energetic and telepathic perception. I have also had other people independently perceive beings and energies around me without knowing anything about my own experiences. I've even had a very psychic woman who dealt with loved ones who had passed on, spirit guides, and angels, but really had no galactic experience. After I'd interviewed her on the podcast and we'd stopped recording, she told me she could psychically see three giant praying mantis beings around me. She was confused about why she would see that, because she didn't know that was a type of ET being. I hadn't shared anything with her about my galactic contact or connections; our entire conversation had been centered around her story. We were both surprised by what she had seen!
My experiences have not left me feeling that I am facing an existential threat. Instead, they have expanded my understanding of consciousness, reality, and the many possibilities that exist beyond our conventional view of the world.
That doesn't mean I believe every extraterrestrial or nonhuman intelligence is positively oriented. I don't. I know there are service to self oriented ETs who are working against humanity.
Discernment is necessary in every area of life, including this one. But there is a significant difference between acknowledging that there are some negatively oriented beings or forces and accepting a blanket narrative that everything unknown or not officially verified by the government should be feared.
One of the challenges with the mainstream disclosure conversation is the tendency to speak about nonhuman intelligence as though it is all one thing, and it's not. Even within the experiences reported by civilians and contactees, there is tremendous diversity. There are different beings, different types of encounters, and dramatically different outcomes from those experiences.
Some people report scary experiences. Others have encounters that lead to healing, greater love, spiritual awakening, expanded awareness, and a deeper sense of connection with life. Many describe ET contact as something that changes them from the inside out. Their perspective expands. They begin questioning assumptions about reality. They experience what might be called an ontological shock as they realize that the world may be far more complex than they previously understood.
The Long History of Ridicule and Stigma
One thing this documentary really gets right is the stigma surrounding this topic. For decades, people who claimed to have seen UFOs or experienced contact were treated as though they were crazy, irrational, or simply looking for attention. The stigma was powerful. People learned to keep their experiences to themselves because they were afraid of being ridiculed. They worried about what their families, friends, employers, and communities would think.
As a result, experiencers spent years believing they were alone or worrying they might be crazy. But that's beginning to change. As more people speak openly about their experiences, others are beginning to realize that they are not alone either.
Pay attention in this documentary that it is admitting that there was a deliberate government (CIA) psychological operation to create a stigma around believing in ETs and UFOs. The message they are trying to convey is, we lied to you for decades about this, hid the truth about the true nature of reality, and destroyed reputations and lives in order to protect this secret. But now we are being honest with you. You should believe us now and let us take care of this for you.
Consider the source. I wouldn't recommend a friend to return to a partner who had lied so deeply to them and had no qualms about making them feel crazy, and the same goes here. The trust is lost; I give no authority to this source.
We are not dependent on official institutions to tell us what is real. We can listen to each other, learn from each other, speak with other experiencers.
As disclosure rolls out, do not give away your power.
If new information emerges about extraterrestrial life, UFOs, UAPs, or nonhuman intelligence, pay attention to the interpretation being offered alongside the reports. Who is providing the narrative? What is their background? What perspective are they bringing to the conversation? What perspective is not included? What emotional response is the messaging trying to create? Are we being encouraged to feel empowered, or are we being encouraged to feel helpless and afraid?
Critical thinking and spiritual discernment should exist together. Spiritual discernment allows us to pay attention to the energetic and emotional quality of what we are receiving. Critical thinking allows us to examine the source, the evidence, the motivations, and the broader context.
Personal Discernment Will Become Increasingly Important
We are moving toward a time when more information about the nature of reality will become available. Some of that information may come through official channels like the media and government. Some may come through scientific discovery. Some may come through whistleblowers and insiders.
But some of the most meaningful information will continue to come from ordinary people having extraordinary experiences. People who have encounters, or see things they cannot explain, or experience profound spiritual awakenings, or receive information in ways that challenge our current understanding of consciousness, or discover that reality is much bigger than they were taught.
As more of these stories are shared, the public conversation will become more complex. It will become increasingly difficult to fit everything into one official narrative. We don't need to replace one unquestioned belief system with another or move from complete denial to complete dependence on government institutions to tell us what reality is. We can be active participants in our own understanding.
Should You Watch the Age of Disclosure Documentary?
If you are already familiar with the conversation around UFOs, ETs, contact, and disclosure, I believe the Age of Disclosure documentary can be worth watching. But I watch it with your eyes wide open. Pay attention not only to the information being shared, but also to the patterns within the messaging. Notice how often fear appears, how often national security is emphasized, and who is being presented as trustworthy. And most importantly, notice your own response.
If you are newer to the galactic conversation, this might not be the best place to start. When you are very fresh to the topic, you are very impressionable. It will be easier for you to slip into the suggestions being offered of existential fear and harder to hold a more hopeful outlook when there has not been a lot of exposure to lean on.
There are many voices in this conversation on galactic contact - researchers, scientists, military and government insiders, historians, independent researchers, contacts, experiencers, and those exploring consciousness, spirituality, and reality itself.
The broader your perspective becomes, the more capable you are of recognizing when someone is trying to usher you into their reality.
