Your creativity is more than self-expression. The creative force is a direct pathway to your intuition, your inner guidance, and your divine connection. But something is moving under the surface of our awareness and reshaping the creative landscape, and most people have no idea it's happening.

In this live episode of Soul Elevation, Kara Goodwin explores how leaning into your creativity opens dormant channels of intuition and accelerates your spiritual awakening. And what really need to talk about what we're energetically losing as AI-generated content floods our world in ways that are largely invisible to consumers. Particularly in the music industry! It is shocking what is happening in favor of creating cheap content that floods streaming services that is not even created by humans, at the expense of human creative professionals.

But this isn't JUST an issue for creative professionals. There is a greater discussion to be had about your own creative expression and how it relates to your soul.

🔴 In this livestream we explore:

✨ How creativity is a gateway to intuition and connecting with the Divine

✨ Why human-made music and art activates something within you that AI cannot replicate

✨ The hidden shift happening in the creative industry and what you need to know as a consumer

✨ How consciously supporting human creativity benefits you energetically, not just ethically

✨ What gets activated in you through human creative work versus machine-generated precision

This is a perspective you need to be aware of, because it is becoming more and more a part of our reality. The power lies within you.

00:00:00,000 --> 00:00:08,000
Hello, and welcome to Soul Elevation: Guiding Your Ascension to New Heights. I'm your host Kara Goodwin, and I'm so happy to be here with you today on Monday, July 6th, 2026. And today I want us to talk about spirituality and creativity, your soul and the creative force that's within
you, how to tap into this more and to take advantage of it more. And then I also want to talk about AI and some things that we wanna be careful with in terms of our own pursuit of growing our creativity, and also the flip side of that in terms of creat- of, um, other creators and

1
00:01:00,000 --> 00:01:08,000
what's happening specifically in the music side of creativity and professional musicians. Um, something that I think is not widely known that you'll wanna know about so that you can make conscious choices that will be better for you and for people who are putting their creations out into the world. So we'll get to that. But I have my notes here.
I just wanna make sure I remember everything I wanted to talk about. So your own creativity is an important aspect of your, your spiritual development, your coming into the fullness of who you are, because life is a creative force. And so what do you think about when you think about you as a creative being? I, I would imagine for a lot of people

2
00:02:00,000 --> 00:02:08,000
listening, they go back to childhood, and maybe when you were a child, there were cr- you felt very creative. You... You know, maybe it makes you think of drawing or painting, finger painting, um, playing an, an instrument, um, playing house. We, we called it house. I think now, what is it? Families? I feel like my, my kids, my daughter would call it families maybe, but we lived abroad
for a while during that period of time for her. But, um, but playing pretend. You know, pl- pretending you're a grownup, pretending that you have a family or you have a business or something. Um, dancing. So any of those things that maybe you think about with your, in terms of your creativity, think about whether you can put, put creativity and your current phase of life together.

3
00:03:00,000 --> 00:03:08,000
Do they go together? Are you flexing your creative muscle now? Or is it something that you think of with children and when you're exploring, and then you decided that you weren't going to do that professionally and so you didn't pursue it anymore? We don't have to do something professionally in order to stretch our creativity. It is innately within us. And the other thing is,
we don't have to do it particularly well. We can do it for the joy of doing it, for the way that it makes us feel, for the journey, for the opportunity to experience something different in our day. I know that I'm s- I've started reading a book called Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain, I think it's what it's called, Betty Edwards, and I'm learning about the, about drawing.

4
00:04:00,000 --> 00:04:08,000
And I am stretching myself to develop this skill, because I've always told myself that I am not artistic, that I'm not a good artist. And, uh, I've really enjoyed doing sacred geometry the last few years and, um... But that's very technical, and it, I love that it uses a compass. I love so much about sacred geometry. But it's not freestyle. It's not freehand. And so I've never consider, e-
although I can make beautiful sacred geometry pictures, um, I don't consider myself, like, really an artist. And I'm not reading this book and engaging in the practices in order to become a great artist. I'm doing it to stretch myself and to tap into the creative potential within me for the pleasure of doing so. And one of the things with this book is that it helps you, it's really calling

5
00:05:00,000 --> 00:05:08,000
out the activation and the exercising of the right side of the brain with things like drawing. And the reason that that's important is because that's the part of us that is more tapped into the intuition. It's the, the free flow, really, like, the connection with all that is, with the universe. And so we can strengthen our
understanding of ourselves as more expansive beings through things like art, through the creation of art, because it's giving us that opportunity to engage with the right side of the brain. So- When you're ex- when you're, um, exploring creativity within yourself, allow it to be a slow process. It's not about creating something,

6
00:06:00,000 --> 00:06:08,000
and it's not about that end product. Remember that it really is the doing. It's the journey. So whether that is creating something on paper, writing a story, um, dancing, or playing music, it's not about having that dialed in output, the finished product. That can be beautiful, and that can bring us a lot of joy to see our progress
and to see a new creation, see how we've expressed ourselves. There's definitely joy in that, but that's not the point of it. The whole point of expressing ourselves creatively is in the doing. So allow yourself to be in, like, an exploratory, um, mode Let go of perfection. I am do— I'm leading a group this summer, and we are

7
00:07:00,000 --> 00:07:08,000
tapping into our, um, telepathic powers, actually. That's the point of it, is to tap into telepathy, and drawing is a part of it. That's one aspect of how we're doing this. That's a major aspect of how we are... We're, we're kind of drawing out what it is that we're perceiving as we do our exercises. And I keep wanting to encourage people to let go of any perfection. This is not about having something
that's beautiful or exactly matches what the target is or... You know, there's no need to be insecure. With anything, like drawing, it- any of these, I'll say drawing, but it can be anything. It's you're putting your essence, your flavor, your style into your creation. So it's not going to be like everybody else's, and this is one of the things with AI. As when you tap into your creativity, we

8
00:08:00,000 --> 00:08:08,000
want to be mindful that we're seeing right now so much AI-generated art that is really precise. You know, it's not done by a human, and it comes out very, um, you know, very precise, and we're seeing that everywhere. So we're being kind of inundated and flooded by these AI images. And it's not... I'm not labeling that as bad. I use AI generation for my artwork for my episodes. I
don't have time to create, uh, thumbnails from scratch all the time. Actually, I was doing that for a very, very long time, and it takes a considerable amount of time. I don't have a team. I'm just me. And so, um, it helps me so much to be able to really focus on what it is that I wanna focus on, which is what do I wanna share? What do I wanna communicate? So I am relying on AI,

9
00:09:00,000 --> 00:09:08,000
AI-generated, um, visual content to... Just because I need to have something that is That is available. You know, it's just kind of one of those pieces of putting content out there as on YouTube or on the podcast. So I'm not saying that it's a bad thing, but just be mindful of your subconscious continuing to get this constant stream of AI-generated content that might feel very
precise, dialed in, perfect, and that might make it seem normal because you're not, we're not engaging as much with the human creations. So it's one thing. That's not the point of the AI piece of what I wanna talk about. That's still to come, but, um, that's one thing to be aware of. So again, it's not about being perfect. It's not about even being great. It's about that journey

10
00:10:00,000 --> 00:10:08,000
of developing cre- u- using the creative energy and potential. It's go- it develops your energy more. It gives you more access to life force. And that may sound very nebulous, but it is absolutely a real thing. So it's... And I'm not gonna go too far into that because we, um, you know, I, that's a whole other subject. But, and again, this cr- when you're tapping into your
creative potential, no matter how you're doing that, whether it's through art, whether it's through music, dancing, moving your body in a freestyle way, it is helping to engage the right hemisphere of the brain. And this is not a side of the brain that, at least in Western cultures, that we spend a lot of, that we're, it really encouraged to develop. Like, our school system

11
00:11:00,000 --> 00:11:08,000
has zeroed more and more and more into that left brain thinking, and by that I mean linear thinking, analytical thinking. Um, you know, A plus B equals C, and really thinking rationally in a time-based way and not that free Uh, non-linear, divinely inspired way that the right brain does. The right brain is exceptionally intelligent, but it's not linear
in the same way that the left hemisphere is. And really, we want both of them working together. But because the right brain has been so suppressed, at least in my culture and other cultures that I've lived in in Western civilization, it's been so heavily focused on the left hemisphere of the brain that the right has been starved, and we just have kind of

12
00:12:00,000 --> 00:12:08,000
phased it out more or less. So it's up to us as we are on our awakening journey to understand the significance, the importance, the opportunity, the potential, and the real intelligence that is there in the right hemisphere of the brain. Because we... Our intelligence is not complete when we are only analytical. And there are so many quotes by, for
example, Einstein, talking about the ether, talking about intuition, talking about being divinely guided, talking about the importance of creative thinking, and that you cannot find a solution from the same level of thought that the problem comes from. You have to get into a higher level of thought to really address any problem. So the more that we get into

13
00:13:00,000 --> 00:13:08,000
our intuition, the more complete our intelligence can become. And actually, you know, I say complete. I, I don't think we can ever be completely intelligent, but we can keep Strengthening and growing our intelligence through using both hemispheres of the brain. And again, that requires us waking up that dormant right side of the brain, the creative side.
Now let's talk about AI and where we are with creative pursuits, and I wanna shift gears a little bit here. I wanna talk about your consumption of AI in ways that you probably don't realize that you are consuming AI. I was really surprised when I heard about this, and I've heard about this through r- really reliable sources. So I love to listen to, um,

14
00:14:00,000 --> 00:14:08,000
music, like the calming music, um, that, you know, some... If I'm leading a meditation, I'll have background music on if it's a live, uh, meditation, or if I... So if my... So my dog is really afraid of storms and fireworks, and so when she starts getting anxious, I'll put music on. And I noticed, like a few, couple of months ago, I was-- I noticed that my dog was starting to pant, and
she was getting worked up because there was a storm. And so I was like, "Oh, I'll put some music on," that, some calming music. And so I typed into my streaming service, and these are just popular, popular str- music streaming services that are right there on your phone. Uh, two in particular, massive behemoth streaming services that you can probably, um, identify without me going into

15
00:15:00,000 --> 00:15:08,000
the details. And I put in calming music, and there was something about it. It just-- They were super short. They were super... They were just felt flat. They sounded fine, but they just felt flat. And I thought, "What is going on with this?" And it made me remember something that I had heard, which is that these
really massive streaming services more and more are hiring... Actually, they're not even hiring. They're using AI to create in-house music And then bumping it to the top of the suggested, uh, music. And so if you're looking for spa music, calming music, relaxing music, meditation music, be aware that a lot of

16
00:16:00,000 --> 00:16:08,000
that is in-house, machine-generated content. And why is this important? Well, I think it's important for many reasons. One is that there are amazing artists out there who that is their livelihood, and that is their passion, that is their gift. It is their mission and their purpose to, um, to create music for your soul.
And especially if it's, like, an instrumental, um, and I don't even think that this is always related to instrumental music because I've heard some really crazy stories about this and about these... Uh, it, it even goes deeper where they're using the likeness of people, their, without their consent and then create,

17
00:17:00,000 --> 00:17:08,000
recreating the music, but not, but doing it in a way where they don't have to pay royalties. I mean, it's all very... I don't, again, like, I'm just giving examples of alleged things that I've heard. Um- And that would be concerning if that was the truth. And, you know, I mean, it's people who are claiming it, um, who are artists. So but the other piece to it, so there's the fairness, there's the, the, you
know, wanting to support people in their pursuit, and wanting to create a culture, a society, a future where people who have these gifts and talents are supported. I mean, even with streaming, if you're streaming an artist, you know, they're getting, like, a fraction of a cent on every stream. So it's not like they're doing this for the money, you know? They're, they're not making a ton of money with this.

18
00:18:00,000 --> 00:18:08,000
But, um, the other thing is the heart that co- goes into it. So I have a very dear friend who is a professional musician. Her name is Michelle Qureshi. I highly recommend that you find her music. Her last name is spelled Q-U-R-E-S-H-I. And when you want relaxing music, when you want calming music, you want meditation music, you want something
to help you chill out and connect to your heart, use her music. She is a real, live person who has been making music for years. She's professional. She's professionally ch- trained, and she has an enormous gift that she is helping people through. Her energy is carried through the sound, and so you are then benefiting from that heart-centered

19
00:19:00,000 --> 00:19:08,000
energy that is pulsing through that music. And so as a consumer, when you are Unknowingly especially, you know, I mean, there's... It's not easy. I don't think there's any indicator to say, like, this is created by a machine or whatever, at this point anyway. But there's no heart in there. It may sound very technically ex- you know, precise, again, getting that
technical precision, but think about what you're giving up in terms of the he- the activation that we give when we're in an energy exchange, and when it... there is an, a p- an artist who is putting their heart and their energy into this creation, what you're able to really receive through the ether, through engaging with that. And then what you give up if you're

20
00:20:00,000 --> 00:20:08,000
instead engaging, excuse me, with non-human. Um, there are, you know... A- and, and again, like, I don't have the, a perfect solution for, um, how to find these artists, but at least be aware of it. And if you're seeing generic, like, relaxation music, meditation music, and it just all seems very generic, and you're not seeing, like, a name, and there's no artist behind it, um, and it's...
if it, especially if it's brand new, you know, they're, it, they're, they were established this year, you know, that might be another flag. Um, but for me, I am making sure that I specifically search for artists that I know and trust, they've been around for a while. Um, another one that I love is Source Vibrations. They've been around for a long time. That's more ambient. Or, well, a lot of

21
00:21:00,000 --> 00:21:08,000
this is ambient music, but, um, there's a lot. And you can... If you have some that you love and recommend, please put them in the comments, because I'm always looking for recommendations, um, on that as well. So, you know, we have the opportunity to have our energy activated by what we're interacting with and consuming in terms of creative content, so that's another
aspect of what I wanna bring in, where I encourage you to make sure that what you're engaging with is from humans. And, you know, we just don't know. Some, some people are putting a lot of trust into AI, and they're, you know, really feeling that they're, that they're, um, connecting with some benevolent being. And, um, you know, I appreciate if, if people are having

22
00:22:00,000 --> 00:22:08,000
amazing experiences that make them think that, but the truth is that- That is not confirmed. That is not verified, and there is a lot of evidence to the contrary. And, you know, we don't know energetically exactly what's behind AI. And so it may... We may have experiences that help us to trust it more and more, but I
think it is wise to stay discerning and to, um, just... You know, I'm in favor of the human creative potential and the, the supporting of that creative potential, and I think it's something to think about, at least to think about. So thank you so much for being here with me. If you've been... If you tried to, um, res- to
