Hello, and welcome to Soul Elevation: Guiding Your Ascension to New Heights. I'm your host, Kara Goodwin. I'm so excited to be here with you on Friday, July 19th, 2026. We are right on the verge of the summer solstice, or summer for us in the Northern Hemisphere, and of course, winter for
those of you in the Southern Hemisphere. Either way, this is a powerful, energetic opening. Any time we have a solstice or an equinox, there are alignments within the planet that allow more energy to come in. And so we have a real opportunity with this alignment that we're in right now where

you can start to think about who is the next version of you. What is a higher version of you? Where is it that you're wanting to go? And this is the time to begin Focusing on that, setting intentions, and moving yourself into phase lock with that version of you. So there are a lot of things that,
you know, we may intend that we change. There are a lot of... You know, New Year's is a time, for example, that we might tend to think about what it is that we wanna bring into our lives. And what often happens with the new year, you get a few days out, and you fall back into your habits often, and

it doesn't... What your intentions are fall by the wayside. And I want you to be aware of that propensity for that ha- to happen within a human, because there are things that you can do to help keep that from happening. And this can be something that you want to change in your life, like if you're, you're wanting to have a massive shift, like you wanna move, or you want to have a new job or
a different position within your job, or, you know, there's a relationship aspect to this. There are a lot of different ways that you may be wanting to change. But it really doesn't matter what it is that you wanna change. Of course, there are different things, details to that, that will matter. You know, there are certain things that you'll wanna do to get yourself into a different position

at work versus, uh, you know, working on your relationship, for example. But really the root of it is the need for you to change And so for you to change, you need to change. You know, we have this energetic alignment right now that helps to facilitate change, but it's not gonna do anything
in the place of you taking action. And some of the action that you will need to take is with your thoughts. It is with your ability to change your behaviors, and sometimes those may not even be completely related to the end goal. But it is a shift that needs to happen within you. And so

with this comes the question of, well, if you are the way that you are and there are ways that you wish that you would change, what is keeping you... What has kept you where you are for so long? And this is where we wanna be aware of our habits, but not only our habits in terms of our actions, but our habits in
terms of our thoughts. And our thoughts can be really sneaky because they feel like... They can feel like they're just what they are. They can just feel like it's just how it is. We can feel thoughts or experience thoughts and think that they're true But really, they might not be true. Often the thoughts that we

think are based on the opinions of others, or they're based on previous thoughts that might not be true, or they're based even on wounds. They're based on a protective element of our ego that is trying to find protection in ways that it ha- might have been unsafe before. It's applying it to what you're going through now, and it's telling you that you
need to hold yourself back or that, you know, you need to in other ways kinda keep yourself small and contained. It can also... Sorry if you can hear my dog barking here. My there's a sound coming from up above us, and, uh, my dog's responding to it. But now you get to see a little peek behind the curtain, but I have, always have my dog in here with

me. Um, so anyway. It can also come from your family, and there are two ways to look at this. There can be your DNA lineage. So it can be, you could be having things that are affecting you and your behaviors and keeping you in these deep grooves that come from your DNA. So they come from your ancient ancestry and people that you never even knew. But they had to go
through difficulties, and they had to survive. They... You are here because your ancestors all the way through have survived long enough to have children. But in order to survive, they've undergone their own traumas and their own difficulties to get to the point where they could have children, and they carry that with you, with them. It- and they pass it through their

DNA. That's just how it works. We pass down a lot through our gen- DNA, not just genetics. We pass down our behaviors and our m- survival mechanisms, which can include our thoughts And the family that you grew up with, and their habits, and their behaviors, and the way that they speak, that naturally, uh, os- what would be the term for, like, through osmosis even, just without you
even realizing it. But through your subconscious and through taking... being in a certain environment that told you how the world works, that has also informed you in who you are and the thoughts that you think. But again, these things are often not factual, so don't believe your thoughts. Your thoughts may be telling you that what it is that you want to change in your life is not

possible for you, but everything is possible, and it starts with you being mindful about the thoughts that you're thinking. And so I wanna go back to this groove, and I talk about this in an episode that's coming out next Thursday that I'm so excited about with Marilyn Gavaki, uh, channeling Xazar, and she's always... You know, everybody loves Marilyn and Xazar. And we talk about this. We talk about
getting these grooves, these deep grooves that humans find themselves in. And often, these grooves are fear-based. And so you've got these comfort grooves, these places where it... you may not be getting what it is that you really desire, but you're comfortable in your habits. You're comfortable with the thoughts. And so it's like even when you make effort to change, to change your thoughts, to

change your behaviors, you have... It can be easy to slip back into this groove of thought, the, the regular thoughts that are running, that are looping and cycling, or to slip back into the behaviors because it's what's comfortable. It's like the devil you know versus the devil that you don't know, you know? There can be this self-sabotage aspect to it where you are... y- you know what
you want, and you know that everything that you've been doing up to this point has not gotten you to where it is that you wanna go And there can be this part of you that just falls back into the groove because it's easier and because you're comfortable there. But you don't realize that you're doing that. You don't do it consciously. And so it's important for you to be mindful, be mindful of

your thoughts, be mindful of your habits and your actions, and continue to be diligent about new habits and new thoughts. So you want to know where it is that you wanna go. Use this time that we're in right now to plant those seeds and to be
intentional and to really feel into that future version of yourself who has built the habits and the thoughts that help them shift from where you find yourself right now to where you want to go And help yourself to step into that. So there's an

energetic piece to this, and something that I like to do and I recommend is with your meditation practice, feeling into that future version of you, feeling it and, and, and doing a visualization or an intention where you are stepping into that new version of you. And you may wanna
do that multiple times, but that meditation will be particularly powerful right now with these solstice energies But you also need to be realistic, and it doesn't stop with your meditation because you are a physical being. You are a, a spirit that is dwelling within a physical body

in a physical reality. So it does take choice and mindfulness and diligence and discipline on your part to take the physical steps necessary to get you to that higher version of yourself. So it's both, right? You, you want to bring in that alignment with
spirit, with your higher self, with your future self, and work with the energy so that you can step into that higher version of you and be mindful of the thoughts and the behavior patterns that you have been exhibiting that have kept you where you are

Notice those thoughts. Notice where it is that you're telling yourself that you have all you deserve Or that you never can do XYZ, or that there's some limitation that your thoughts are putting on you that are probably coming from family, DNA, collective consciousness, from just being part of
society. And you are influenced by the collective consciousness, and there is a huge fear-driven, um, groove that comes from the collective consciousness. It's really easy for us to dip into fear because it's everywhere. So when we want to have a new experience and a new reality, we have to

be mindful about the things that keep us locked in fear, keep us lower in that fear and separation and the limitation, and catch those thoughts and choose new thoughts because those thoughts are not true. They are based on falsities. And so it's making that choice to get out of the comfort zone, even the
comfort zone of thought where your thoughts keep finding their way into these grooves of limitation, these deep grooves. But when you think about this and you feel into it, feel how there is this reality that is higher, it's outside of the groove. But just like if you were roller skating. Let's say you're roller

skating on some asphalt in a park, and there's a groove in the center of the, of the pavement. And every time you skate near that groove, your roller skate just finds its way into that groove, and you're carried along by that groove because that's what's easy. But you don't wanna be in that groove because you might s- see that there are a lot of rocks in that
groove or sticks or whatever that can trip you up. It's not actually the, the... You know, it's easier to be carried along by that groove, but it is not the best path for you. So in order to get out of that groove, you have to make more effort because the groove is just carrying you along. That fear coming from the collective is just carrying you right along because

that is the well worng, worn, excuse me, the well-worn groove of humanity. That's the reality that we're in So recognize that you wanna make change, you've got to do some changing. You've got to catch those thoughts and choose new thoughts. And when your thoughts go into that familiar territory with
those well-worn grooves of limitation and fear, use the effort, use your will, use your choice to get out of that groove and to get into a higher level of thinking. Your thoughts are shaping your reality. Your thoughts are shaping your reality So it is up to you to recognize those untrue thoughts

and to come out of those grooves of comfort so that you can have a higher experience, and that is going to help inform the behaviors and help you to get into a higher version of yourself And these solstice energies that we're in are very supportive of this, of transition. And, you know, the solstice is tomorrow, but we're in this window. The solstice, you know,
there's a peak time where the sun will be at the highest point, you know. Well, it's really based on the Earth's rotation or, um, tilt. But, um, but you're ... But we're in a window right now, and this window is very potent and very powerful, and so there's a lot happening in the energy. I'm talking about very practical things for you with your choices, with

your, with your thoughts, with being mindful, but there also is this really supportive energy happening in the background. And so it's fun to tune into this if you can, and we're all becoming more and more sensitive, I believe. And last night I was having an experience where I was having a hard time sleeping at a certain point in the night, and I could feel all of this energy bubbling, is a good way... It was almost like fireworks.
Um, and the way that I was experiencing it, it was all through my body, but it was like these... All of this energy was opening up. And if you're familiar with, like, a Mandelbrot sequence... If you're not familiar with that, you can Google it and s- may- actually go on YouTube and look at Ma- Mandelbrot, um, visuals, because it's these fractals that the more... It feels like you're going right into the center and you can't

get any deeper into it, and then all of a sudden, it's the ... It fractalizes, but it's very natural. Like, it's all happening at once, but you think you're gonna get to an endpoint, like you won't be able to see any further in, and it just keeps replicating, and it's very fluid and beautiful. But that is, like, what this experience was like. It was like these fireworks going off, but it was
like this energy was opening up, and all this new energy, like exponential, exponentially more energy, was opening up from each burst of points of energy. But it was like all these fireworks going off all at once. Um, and I also had, like, there, uh, uh... It was at, similarly, at a very similar time, a s- very similar part of this experience, but it was like these- Like several little fighter

planes coming, like whooshing up, um, through my consciousness, but it was like, but they were also like triangles. But that also s- like they were taking off at an enormous speed. So those I thought were very interesting energetic representations or metaphors, but they were actual experiences that I had within my consciousness and perception of my own energy. So it's just an example of the energy
that's available right now, and that's why I really wanna bring this to your attention so that you can make the most out of this. Because you are a very powerful creator being, and it's up to you to discover that. And to discover that, you need to change your thoughts and change your behaviors. And it's right there for you, and this is such a powerful time to engage with it. So get on with it. Enjoy this
