And today I wanna talk about a very famous painting from Michelangelo that's on the ceiling of the S- Sistine Chapel, and it is entitled The Creation of Adam. And I'll share this.

I wanna talk about this because there was actually a reel on Instagram that got me thinking about this, and the reel was sharing what I'll share with you. resonated with me, and it brings up a much deeper truth that's very helpful to keep in mind on the spiritual path. And that is the, the truth about your effort and God's effort or the divine's effort, your higher self's effort. However you wanna think about that ben- benefic- uh, benevolent, um, energy on the other side.
There are energies on the other side that are helping you, that are reaching out to you, that are there for you, and it's up to us to make the effort to connect. It's always there for us, but we have to make the effort to connect. We have to remember that we are in a, a reality of free will and duality, and it's always

our initiative and our desire that's going to bring to us what it is that we seek. And when we start to seek the divine, when we start to seek a life that is richer in spiritual Um, flavor. Then when we begin to make that, uh, that effort, that choice, and we start to direct ourselves in that way, there is a whole... There are, uh,
there's a whole host of benevolent beings who are ready to receive us, and they're kind of waiting in the wings, and so many times we don't reach out. Even if we have been spiritually awakened for a while, we've been on the path for a while, maybe you were born into a path and you never really deviated from it, but life happens,

and life can come in and take over, and we can feel stressed, and we can feel like there are so many things to take care of in this physical realm. There are bills to pay, there are errands to run. There are, um, you know, fires to put out in one way or another. There's work that needs to be done, and it can start to feel overwhelming within us, and we may forget or we may not feel that we have time for help. It may not
even come to mind because we get so entrenched in the physical reality that we don't even consider all the help we have on the other side. So with that being said, let me go ahead and share this image so that you can see what I'm talking about. You pr- I'm sure you have heard about or seen this screen, or this screen. This is The Creation of Adam by Michelangelo. And so what I really wanna direct your attention to here is that we have this representation of God here on the right, on my right. I don't know how it shows up for you on your screen. And then you have Adam over here on the left. And God is there with a team of angels. You know, he's got all of these divine beings. You can see that God
is elevated. He is higher than Adam. He's... You have the sense that he is descending down. He is reaching out. Look at how he's reaching out. If you're listening to this, my apologies, um, I will try, if I can, because I think that this, this, uh, painting, I think it's just in the common, uh, usage, public domain. So I think that I should be able to put this in the show notes.

Um, but if I can't, I will link the video in here. This may be one that you want to connect with the video if you usually listen to the audio. So look at God's finger here, and look at how active it is. Look at how active God is. God is in motion. You can see the wind in his hair. You can see by the gown that he's wearing that the, the, there is wind resistance
on it. That is showing us this activity, that God is in motion. And the direction that he's going, he's going directly to Adam. You know, you can tell by all of the different ways that they're depicting the, the motion and how fabric and ribbon and all of this would move. You can see his hair behind him. And his finger is actively pointed toward Adam.

So he is actively reaching to Adam. Now, what is Adam doing? Adam's lying there. He's very languid. He's very relaxed. He's looking at God, but he's kinda lazily looking at God. And he's reaching toward God, but look at how he's reaching toward God. He's got his arm on his leg, supporting his strong arm. He's got the muscles. He's got the
health and the vitality, but he's not using it. And look at his finger. Look at his forefinger. It's pointed down. It's not, it's not pointed away from God. He's not actively turning away from God. He's kind of, kind of reaching in the direction of God. But he's not even really lifting his finger. Look, just think from an active... Look at who's

active. Look at how active God is. God is rushing in. God is looking directly at Adam. He is pointing at Adam, and Adam's looking, and he's like, "Yes, okay. It's not a no, but, you know, if I can get around to lifting my finger, then we'll make this connection." But Adam is just, all he's gotta do is lift his
finger the tiniest little bit, and then he'll be directly connected to God. But he's just kinda not doing that. And so what does this show about spiritual reality? I'm gonna stop sharing this now But this is the human condition. When I first came onto my spiritual path, I was following Paramahansa Yogananda and

his teachings, and he's been deceased since 1952. So I was really immersed in, um, in his past teachings that continue to live on. And I remember one of his teachings was that if... That the human only needs to do 25% of the effort to reach God or to reach your higher self. Let's not get
carried away with semantics. Just whatever it is that resonates with you We do 25%, and God does 75%. If you just make a quarter of the effort, God will meet you with three quarters of that effort. God will do the heavy lifting, but you need to, you need to request it. You need to show

up. You need to put in some effort. And so what does that look like? What does effort look like? Shouldn't it just be easy? Shouldn't we just be in this spiritual knowing and have God's support all the time? And we do have God's support all the time. I mean, I, I get so much nourishment when I hear these near-death experiences or people who have really hit rock bottom, and they really don't think that there's a way out, and
there's some sort of divine intervention. A lot of times that is them getting to their last straw and being like, "I don't know what else to do. God? Is there a God? Do you... Are you there?" And then something miraculous happens. It's that little tiny bit of effort. And so that... When you're on a spiritual path, we may feel like, "But I'm making effort. I'm going to church," or, "I am meditating," or, "I'm, you know, doing

whatever." And so it is this, this recognition that we... You don't necessarily need to spend every waking moment praying or being mindful of God. Be out there living. Be living your life. Because very likely, that is part of your mission. You are boots on the ground. You are a soul in a human body. You've chosen to come in and incarnate in a
physical reality that is pretty masked. You know, the, the spiritual life here in modern living, at least in the Western world, is pretty masked in terms of spiritual reality. We don't really acknowledge the spiritual reality of this world, and that can be hard. And I've talked about this in other episodes where especially for people who are open to

the star seed concept, who rec- who resonate with being a star seed, have maybe have memories or have had past life regressions where they really resonate, resonate with another place w- outside of Earth and as another, with another culture. And that culture of where their star seed origins, where they feel really connectly, connected to It, spiritual living is just a given. You know, that's just how society is, is
formed. You- it's part of your, your every waking moment. You recognize that you're connected to God. Everybody's living in that way. It's just a different way of living, and that can make it, here on Earth, feel very disorienting to souls who are like, "Why do I feel so disconnected? Why do I feel so lonely? Why do I f- why is there war? Why are ... Why does it feel like everything's against us? Why are the- there are

these strong forces that are trying to turn everybody away from God? Why doesn't anybody recognize the God within?" And that could be at a subconscious level or it could be something that you recognize very consciously. But regardless, we are where we are, and it's ... It kind of is self-evident that we chose to be here knowing the conditions that we are in.
And so it is up to us to, in our own way, transcend the duality and transcend that cultural imprint, that programming that we have that disconnects us from God. And that is a choice that every single person can make. And so how do we exhibit that? It is through our intention. It's through our thoughts. It's through prayer. It's through talking to God. For me,

I meditate every day. I try to meditate every day. I mean, it's rare that I don't have a day that I meditate, but I'm sure they're there, here and there. Um, but I start every meditation with prayer. I start every meditation with an invocation, calling in my higher self, calling in the I am presence, calling in pure source consciousness, calling in
my divine team, angels and archangels and ascended masters and benevolent star family. And I ask for two massive beings of pure source light, two huge angels of pure source light to be with me all day long and to intercept any lower energies or entities that try to enter my field, and to take those directly to source permanently out of this realm.

And that is something that I do every day. I also have talked in recent livestreams about this red Rejuvenator light that I have that I love. And so I have time where I'm using this red Rejuvenator light, and it's hard for me to... You know, it's just a few minutes, but I'm just there. Like, if I'm using it, um, on my eyes or some, you know, like, if I... 'Cause I've... Sometimes I'll read while
I'm, um, using it. But if I'm using it, like, and my eyes are there, you know, and blocked, then I can't do anything else. And so what could I do? I could just worry and and, like, plan and all those things, all those places that your mind just kind of goes when you're not being disciplined with it. But I use that time to connect and to talk to God and to think about the things that I do want.

What is the reality that I do want to live in? If I have the contrast of the things that frustrate me and anger me and, um, that, that make me sad about being here in this planet, in this realm, what are the other side to that? What is it that I want to bring in? And so I can use that time where I'm using my red Rejuvenator and I'm, I'm praying for, I'm, I'm thinking about the, the world
that I desire, the reality that I desire. And I'm calling it in. I'm talking to God. I'm connecting to God. I'm connecting to the all that is. Now, one last thing that I wanna bring home in this conversation is that I know that some people, it's, it's really normal in your awakening journey that a word like God has weight to it. If you've had a religious upbringing that is encoding this

fearful, um, image of God, that God equals punishment, God sees you as a sinner, God is here to damn you. You're, you're just, you are by virtue of being human, you're making mistakes and God's mad at you. And so that can mean that that word God is very loaded. And I encourage you to look at that and to work with that, and
don't run away from God because you've had this programming from other humans that tell you that God is something to be afraid of, that God is against you, that God is looking to punish you. That is human programming designed to control you. And it is not the truth God is a benevolent presence that wants to help you. God is a

loving creator who is on your side, and God wants for you what you want for yourself. And if you are seeking a connection with God, a connection with spirit, a connection deep within yourself of the eternal truth of who you are, God will meet you. Do 25% of the effort, and God
will make the 75% gap. And do this every day. Every day. Again, it doesn't mean you have to do it all day every day. You don't have to give up your life and run off and join a monastery in order to do this. Very likely you are here to live in the modern world, but to embody

more of the truth of who you really are And to do that, you just need to remember every day, create a habit every day of talking to God, of expressing to God your love, your gratitude, and talking about what you need help with, handing things over to God And recognize if there is programming
within you that is turning you away from God because you're afraid. And that is something to work through, and it is possible to work through that. That can be very, very deeply entrenched. And unfortunately, that is a mechanism of evil, which is strange when we, you know, have it under a religious

context. I understand that. But really allow yourself to get to the heart of the truth of God, the truth of your spirit, of your soul. It's there for you. And just raise your finger a little bit so that you can complete that connection with God. And I promise you, if you do this every day,
