Tina Clarke

[00:00:00]

Kara Goodwin: Welcome to the Soul Elevation Podcast, guiding your ascension to new heights. My name is Kara Goodwin and I'm excited today to talk in this live stream with Tina Clark. So Tina Kenny Clark is a seasoned shamanic Reiki master teacher and founder of Stargazing Angel, celebrating 10 years of helping people heal from chronic pain, break through emotional and energetic blocks, and create lasting positive change.

Tina has trained dozens of students in Reiki and teaches on everything from tarot and empathetic, develop empathic development to psychic skills and shamanic healing. Her toolkit spans powerful modalities like EFT, theta healing, soul retrieval, and integrative energy. Therapy all focused on guiding people into empowered, authentic living.[00:01:00]

She's also the author of Into the Tree, journeying into the Spirit World, and she's the voice of behi. She's the voice behind Voices of Healing, where she explores holistic approaches to everyday health challenges. And I was honored to be a guest on Voices of Healing recently. So when we're finished I'll put the link in the show notes so you can check that out.

'cause that was a, such a beautiful discussion and uh, we even went a bit galactic in that discussion, which was awesome. But, uh, thank you so much, Tina, for being here. I'm excited to talk a bit about. Your journey and the work that you do. So thanks so much for joining me today. Yeah, thank you for having me on.

Um, so tell us, let's start by talking about you and you put so much focus on others in Voices of Healing. So let's turn the attention to you and how Reiki and Shamanism became so [00:02:00] central to your journey. Yeah,

Tina Clarke: I think it was about 2011. I started really looking at. My spiritual world and exploring different topics.

I've always been an avid reader. I mean, I read like 70 to 80 books a year, maybe more, and usually on these topics. So I'm one of those people that I just wanna keep learning and so I started actively meditating around that time and I noticed I really saw a lot and I. I could hear my guides and my angels and.

I found a Reiki teacher and tarot teacher in 2014, and I got all my Reiki training from that one teacher. I just loved the way she taught, and we had a lot in common, especially in terms of abilities. So

Kara Goodwin: let's go back really [00:03:00] quickly to the, when you started meditating, you started hearing the guidance. So you realized that you were a clear audience.

Did that happen quickly? Did that happen spontaneously? Did it develop over time? Were you trying to make that happen? How? Tell us more about that. I think

Tina Clarke: that my whole life I've been very clear, sentient. Um, I always had feelings. I always had a feeling if I was not alone, if I was being watched, if there was spirit in the room, but I never tried to have a conversation or ask a question.

I don't know why. Like I was paralyzed and I didn't know what to do. I would, I wouldn't. I would talk to them, but I wouldn't expect to hear them back. And it's not until I became Reiki trained and my teacher said, well, I think you have mediumship abilities. And I started working with her that [00:04:00] I realized I can actually have a conversation with Spirit instead of being awkwardly here, not.

Uh, conversing with them or asking them why they're showing up. So what is that like for

Kara Goodwin: you as because is it, is it subtle? Are you physically hearing them? Is it easy to do? I. I have so many questions about it. I think it

Tina Clarke: was fairly easy to do once I asked the right question. So if I, if a spirit came in the room, I would focus on them and I could see them too.

Um, and clarity depends on how much I focus in on them. But I would ask them, you know, what is their name? Why are you here? Can I help you with anything? Do you have a message with me? That was, for me, that was the question that opened up the conversation because I think a lot of spirits, especially the ones that have haven't transitioned [00:05:00] into the light, they're used to being ignored and not noticed.

Oh, so okay for them, they don't expect you to talk to them. Notice them. They really want to be noticed. They really want to be heard, but they're used to a lot of people not noticing them. Um, so sometimes there's a surprise in return, like, oh. She can see me and she

Kara Goodwin: could hear me. So does that mean that you're, you are engaging more with like disembodied spirits that haven't transitioned yet, rather than your guides or is it a little bit of everything?

Tina Clarke: All of it. Okay. All of it. Um, even galactic beings. Um, I can communicate with. So I think once you're telepathic, you can be telepathic with any being.

Kara Goodwin: Mm-hmm.

Tina Clarke: Okay. Um, I've never had a hard time understanding them. I've never [00:06:00] heard them in another language. It's always been English. Um, it's always been clear.

And then depending on their abilities, sometimes I hear words. Sometimes they send to me pictures or feelings. It depends on what they're comfortable with and how they wanna communicate. Wow.

Kara Goodwin: Whoops. I think I just, well, hopefully I didn't, can you hear me okay? Yes. I, I tapped some, I meant to come back on the screen and I tapped something I didn't mean to, and I.

I was like, did I just turn the audio? Anyway, um, that is so fascinating. So I, I had taken a little, um, side street there so we could explore that, but you were talking about how impactful Reiki was in your journey, so please carry on with that.

Tina Clarke: Yeah. So with Reiki, um, you do learn some structure with reiki, but what I loved is it's very flexible and you [00:07:00] can really use your intuition.

So say for example, you get a set of hand, um, movements and motions, but you don't have to use all of them. And you don't have to start at the head and end at the feet or anything. There's no like hard and fast rules. And if anyone that knows me out there, I don't like a lot of rules. I like to use my intuition and my feeling and everything that I do.

And so I've found that with reiki, um, it was always changing and I'm always learning. With Reiki, it never gets. Boring it. Always something new always comes up. And I use reiki in combination with shamanic healing and my, my intuitive gifts. So I combine them all. I. So it's been a nice modality to grow with me, and I don't [00:08:00] ever see myself stopping my reiki practice because it grows with me and it changes.

And then the other side of teaching it, it's a wonderful way to review what you've learned. And you know, these manuals are full of information and every single time something different pops out and I go, oh. I should focus on this more, or, oh, I just had a client and I could use this with this client. So that's what I love about Reiki.

I also love it because it's a meditative practice and it helps you focus and into that alpha brainwave state. And it's, it's just everything. It's meditation, it's sacred ceremony. It's. Uh, it, I received reiki as well as my. Recipient. So it's a win, win, win all, all around.

Kara Goodwin: Yeah. [00:09:00] That's beautiful. Well, you, you talked a little bit about the shamanic aspect to it and that you offer kind of, you kind of bundle everything together depending on what's the need of the client is.

Um, let's talk more about the shamanic piece because I think more of the healing, like, um, you know, I picture somebody on a table, I. With Reiki healing like on a massage table or, um, and they're in a really relaxed state. For me, when I think about shamanism, I think of more like guiding somebody into a shamanic like journey.

And that might, and, and I imagine it's more expansive in your terms of like what, what that would be. But what do you consider. The shamanic piece, how does that

Tina Clarke: fit in? Well, since we're talking about reiki, let's talk about some of the sham, shamanic aspects of reiki. So we know that some of us, um, can see [00:10:00] cords, energetic cords, and remove them maybe energetic blocks that look like shapes.

Those are all shamanic psychic surgery. Or blowing and clearing someone. You know, when you attune someone, you blow into their solar plexus, to the crown, to the solar plexus. That's all like shamanic aspects of reiki. And reiki is actually based on bond shamanism with, which is Tibetan shamanism. Oh, okay.

So there's some overlap there. Um, but. In terms of, so that shamanism to me, and I'm a spiritual shamanism shaman, is that I work with spirits, helping spirits, and they help me. So it's a two way street and. A relationship. So I work a lot with my angels. I don't do anything without my [00:11:00] angels and guides present whenever I do any sessions or any work.

And then I, and in addition, I have my power animals, which are my, my companions and guardians and the spirit world. And then I perform shamanic journeys and soul retrievals, um, which is. Shaman journey is really like a structured, self-guided meditation to the spirit world. Mm. So where you have a loose structure, but you are also allowing things to unfold.

So it really is a journey. Um, and then with the soul retrievals, it's a specialized shamanic journey to go and retrieve, um, pieces of your soul that may be stuck in events, which a lot of us, I don't see all, I see all of us having that, especially those of us who've had a [00:12:00] lot of incarnation. And then, um, I also work a lot with the land.

And, um, healing the land, clearing the land, working with the guardians of the land. You know, if I go travel or even locally and feel like the energy needs a tuneup or a validation or a ceremony, I will create a ceremony. So those are all the, the shamanic healing that practices that I do. So

Kara Goodwin: do you see them are, when you work with clients, do you do those separately?

Because, am I correct in understanding like a, a sole retrieval, for example, you're doing that kind of on behalf of the person, but they're also participating. Would that be accurate? You kind of, you guide them or you doing it on their behalf? Or is it, does it just depend?

Tina Clarke: I, I do it on their behalf. [00:13:00] So if they're in person and local, they can come.

We both, um, are in the room together, but they just lay. And where are you located? Uh, uh, outside Charleston, South Carolina. Mm-hmm. And so we both, they lay down, I lay down and do the journey for them, but they're just there like relaxing or meditating or in a restful state. And then if it's remotely, we choose a time where they can be laying down in a relaxed state, and then I will do the journey for them.

Kara Goodwin: Hmm. Okay. So you wrote a book on Shamanism, so what inspired you to do that, and what did you focus on in your book?

Tina Clarke: Well, I've always wanted to be an author. I've always journaled every single journey that [00:14:00] I've done from the beginning for myself and for others. So I had about 80 of them at the point that I wrote the book.

And so I simply wrote the book explaining what I did, what the spirit world was like, and then I give you 80 shamanic journeys and soul retrievals, so you really get a good idea of what it's like. What the spirit world is like, what you might encounter, how they answer questions and give guidance. And so, um, I found it, I found it illustrative and I also knew there wasn't really a book out there like that that really got into the details of what a journey was or a soul retrieval was.

There were some more general books that would give you little snippets. Of what it was like, but I'm giving you entire journeys on [00:15:00] what it's like.

Kara Goodwin: That is beautiful. So can you share, like what, can you share a few, a couple or so of your like most inspired journeys that you've had or the ones that have really, you know, kind of landed with

Tina Clarke: you?

Yeah. One of my favorite types of journeys to do is. Just to, um, be of service. So I don't really have any questions, but I asked Spirit, take me where you need me, where you might need my help. And so one of these journeys I did, I ended up on an island and I saw all these souls and they were all just there, just standing there.

And looking, not really looking at me. And I was like, what's going on here? You know? And [00:16:00] when I ask those internal questions during the journey, I get these feelings of what, where I am and what's going on. And I realized that these were all souls that needed to be guided into the light. And guiding it to the light is relatively simple.

Uh, all you have to do, the light is always there, by the way. So all you have to do is just point them in the direction and usually look up because I said, look up and look at the light. And once they see that light, that light pulls them in because that's where they need to go. So they don't even have to do anything.

It's kind of like a, like a magnet that brings them up into the light portal. And so I, I said this to the very big group and they ended up moving into the light. And at the end of the, the, the journey, sometimes my guide show up or [00:17:00] there are, you know, beings there with messages for me and one of the beings is the goddess ISIS that has.

Showed up many, many, many times in my journeys. And um, she is deeply connected with Shamanic journey and she said, you don't have to guide these spirits one at a time. You can do big groups. And she said the words go big or go home and you're not going home yet. And so that really stuck with me that I could do big things.

I didn't have to do small things. Mm-hmm. So I'm always thinking about doing a big ceremony or helping a lot of being that want or sending love and reiki to the planet at once.

Kara Goodwin: I love it. You know, it makes me [00:18:00] think too, because you talk about, you did the ceremony and then at the end you kind of had more visions where guides came in and so forth.

Um, I don't necessarily consider, like, I don't do shamanic journeys per se, um, but I have had, I remember one really unique experience where, uh, uh, clients. Um, partner passed away unexpectedly, and they weren't rep prepared for it. Like the partner wasn't prepared. The, my client wasn't prepared, and I just felt this like, pull to assist because this, it felt that this, the consciousness was surprised that it was on the other side.

And so. I had this inspiration to just tone. I was even, I think I was even driving while it was happening, but I was just doing like [00:19:00] vowel sounds and I was, um, picturing, I think I also did it in meditation. I did it a few times, but I was picturing that the sounds were building this light structure, this like geometric energetic light structure and that that was helping that soul.

To be able to transition, you know, it was like giving it some sort of structure to, to help it, you know, and I, but there was a bit, because I haven't necessarily been trained in this, it was a very intuitive thing and it was, it came to me as like, oh, this sounds like a good idea. But it just was this idea that I had and I was like, okay, I'm gonna go with it.

And what was really fascinating is. I did feel as I was doing that, this connection and I felt this like peace with it. I felt I had good [00:20:00] feelings with it, but then as the days went on afterwards, I was getting verification in the physical world of these little things related. So like the client, the, the, the person's name.

Would just pop in. I would overhear I one, one example is I was having lunch with somebody. And it was actually one of the few people who I could go into this with and tell, tell her like, well, I was doing this toning and it's this new thing that I, you know, just kind of came up spontaneously and I could hear so clearly two tables over.

It was as though these women started shouting the first name of this person. And you know, let's say her name was Mary, that they were like Mary Mary and they, they were telling their own story, but it was. The only thing I could hear the whole time that they ever said was this, this name Mary, the appropriate name.

And then I could, and then I was like [00:21:00] trying to hear them because it was, it was as though as while as I was talking, that's all I could hear. And then I tried to tune in and I couldn't hear them saying anything anymore. And little things like that where it's like, oh, strange. Um. These little just signs sort of were, were popping in of that were relevant to that person who was transitioning, which seemed to me like the physical world blending with that intention and that work, that etheric work.

Do you have, do you relate to that and do you have experiences like that too? Yeah,

Tina Clarke: the, that is a thank you to you for assisting. So when you do this kind of work and you're helping others, spirit will show you sign. Thank you. To validate what you've done to show you they [00:22:00] know that what you've done and that you've helped others.

Back in 2017, I went on a tour of Sacred Mary Magdalene sites in France. Oh, wow. And we were, I was with a group of women that some I knew, most of them I knew, but. Not very well. And then there was one that I didn't know, we didn't know at all, but we all came together at each location and tuned into what was going on there.

And we would try to find the most powerful spot in the church or the most power. This why we're this cave was special. You know, and, um, we came together and did that work. We did a lot of clearing work and psycho pump work. And, and I, I was like the leader. I don't know why, but everybody came to me to ask me, Tina, what are you feeling in each location?

What do you think we need to do? [00:23:00] And we did some beautiful ceremonies throughout those days. And at the very last day, there's a mountain called Bucca Rock. And while we were driving to the airport that very last day, there was a beautiful rainbow coming out of the mountain.

Kara Goodwin: Oh my

Tina Clarke: gosh. And we all just erupted and laughter and applause because we knew that they were telling us, thank you for all the work that you did.

Kara Goodwin: Wow. Oh, that gives me chills. I love it. Oh my goodness. Well, it has been so fascinating to learn about your work and the things that you're offering to the world. Um, I. Tell people how they can find you, how they can connect with you, how they can access your podcast and

Tina Clarke: your books. Sure. So my website's tina kinney clark.com.

The name of my business is Star Gazing Angel, LLC. [00:24:00] Um, the podcast is called Voices of Healing. And it's available on Amazon, apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, and I also am on several social media platforms, Facebook, Instagram, um, and TikTok. And my books are available on Amazon. The. Book on shamanism is called Into the Tree Journeying into the Spirit World.

The other book is, uh, called Holistic Health Volume Two, and I write a chapter in that book along with other authors. And I'm actually working on a third book, Cara, uh, I'm working with A-Q-H-H-T, um, hypnotherapist, and she's one of my Reiki students. And we're, she's. We're doing hypnotherapy sessions and asking like intriguing questions Oh, of [00:25:00] source and creator and the collective.

So we're working on that right now.

Kara Goodwin: So is she hypnotizing you? Yes. And then what comes through you is what you're. Getting. Okay. Wow.

Tina Clarke: Yeah, so in QHHT, which is Dolores Canon, um, if you ever read her books, I highly recommend her books. They're are amazing. She's got so prolific. Yeah. And so she created this special hypnotherapy, um, session and we're gonna ask the collective or the super conscious a lot of questions about who they are.

What are they doing? Why are they guiding us? You know? So we're gonna do a lot of that. And the interesting thing is my student thinks, she thinks that I'm going to the collective after this. She happens to be a second medium also. So, wait, what do you mean by that? [00:26:00] Meaning that I'm not gonna have an individual lifetime after this one.

Oh, I'm gonna go back to the collective.

Kara Goodwin: Oh, okay. I see. Yeah. I thought you meant she was predicting that you were passing soon or something. No. Like, wow. You're

Tina Clarke: very casual about that. I, I, I think I'm gonna be here for a while.

Kara Goodwin: Yes. I, I think you're an important part of this transition that we're in, so I don't think you get off that easily, Tina.

Tina Clarke: No. Lot of hard work, but it's worth it. And, you know, if. If you are spiritual and doing this work, just know that you're qualified for it and you have the experience, and you just have to tap in to that wisdom that's already there.

Kara Goodwin: Beautiful. Well said. Well, Tina, thank you so much for being here today. It's such a joy to connect with you.

You have so many ways that you're helping individuals and, [00:27:00] and all of us, all of humanity and the planet. So I thank you so much for your service and for being here today. Thank you so much. Okay, thank you.
