523. Grief, Transition, and the Soul Perspective How Loved Ones Guide Us After They Pass

Kara Goodwin: Hello and welcome to Soul Elevation Guiding Your Ascension to New Heights. I'm your host Kara Goodwin, and today I wanna talk about losing our loved ones. I personally am. Going through some grief right now. I had an, an unexpected death in my family last week with a, uh, a young cousin, um, young meaning 30, but quite a bit younger than me.

Um, and it was unexpected. My cousin had a, an accident. In a training flight and um, it really has hit everybody just [00:01:00] out of the blue. And it was a young life that makes it, I think there's an added layer of heartache that happens when somebody is just kind of beginning their lives and the grief that I feel.

Is also the grief that I, that I feel for his wife who is pregnant with their first child and for his parents who have just lost their precious son and his brother and sister and, and for so many who. Who are grieving for him. And the reason that I wanna bring this up today is because there's a lot of grief going on all over the place.

Different circumstances, [00:02:00] but it's not unusual for us to be losing loved ones. You know, that's part of life. I know that, that this is a common thing that a lot of people. Deal with, and a lot of you know that we are going through this, this evolution of consciousness, and I think that these things are related when we're dealing with people, losing people that we love and them transitioning.

I see it as we're gaining helpers on the other side, and I believe that there are perhaps more [00:03:00] souls transitioning at this time, and I think that that is purposeful in terms of having help. That is close to us in these human terms, and they're now on the other side and they, we can relate to them in a different way than perhaps we would to the assistance of, let's say, an angel.

So there are different helpers on the other side that have different roles. And they're all available to us. What they have in common is that they don't have physical form or they no longer have physical form. If they, um, had human, if they had a human body [00:04:00] before, but not all help on the other side has had human form.

Previously, so Angels, for example, are, are not, they don't take human form. They always exist in their angelic dimension. They're still available to assist us. We can ask for their help and they can help, they can intercede, they can assist us in our human experience, but they have not been human. So I know that I, I remember when I was younger, I, I would think that like when my grandpa passed away, for example, I would imagine him as an angel.

So I know that some people see it as, um, you know, when you die, you become an angel. And it's not quite like that. But there is an angelic realm. There are angelic assistance and they, they don't take human form. [00:05:00] Then you have ascended masters, for instance, who have gone, who have been humans, and they have gone through a huge, they've gone through a lot of spiritual transformation and reached, um, the master level.

They have disin incarnated. And so they no longer have a human body, but they have the human experience and they've gone through the spiritual evolutionary process through the human form. That's another type of help that we have. So Jesus Christ or Yeshua, um, would be an example of that. Buddha would be an example of that.

Joan of Arc could be an example of that. So, um. St. Francis of Assisi could be an example. So they, those would be another type of assistance. They no longer have human form, but they have that [00:06:00] human experience and the way that I see it when we lose somebody who we love. In this life, you know, we have that human connection with them.

They were in a human body. We have that human relationship with them, and then they transition. They can become an intermediary for us. This is giving me chills. Um, but they are kind of this, they're, they are in spirit form now, but we as humans have that relationship with them and it kind of can act as, they can act as a bridge into the spirit realm.

And there are a lot of people who don't necessarily have a spiritual perspective on life and you know, they, they, and this was me when I was [00:07:00] going through my, the death of my sister-in-law, um, nine years ago. You know, I didn't really, I was interested and curious about spiritual things, but I, I wasn't very connected to the spiritual nature of life or my own spiritual aspect, my soul.

And through the process of losing her, that very much got my attention on the spiritual nature of life, and it really changed my life. And so I think that that's one of the potentials that we have when we lose these, these precious. Beings who we have these human relationships with, we relate to them in a very human way.

And so when we lose them, we can still feel that connection and we can imagine them. If nothing else, we can use our imaginations to connect with them and start to contemplate and connect with our own spiritual nature [00:08:00] when we're. Imagining them, what their lives might be like, how their soul keeps on living, what that experience is like for them.

That helps us to start to open up to the spiritual nature of life and they are trying to communicate with us too. And so we may, whether we mean to or not, we may start to pick up on things and feel like, oh, I think so. And so that feels like it could be a message from my loved one who's trying to reach through if we start to notice some unusual things happening.

Really, we had the opportunity to open ourselves up to the mystery and how they might be connecting with us from the other side. So I believe that when we have, so the, the experience that I'm going through right now, this scenario that I'm going through right now, is this loss, this really [00:09:00] unexpected loss, really tragic loss of my cousin.

That came out of nowhere and he was so healthy and so deliberate. I mean, this was just a terrible, terrible accident. And he's here one moment and then he's gone the next. And that to me, even though it was an accident, we would say in human terms, it was an accident from the sole perspective. There is no part of me that believes that something like that is an accident.

Again, at the sole perspective, it seems clear to me that that was purposeful. That was the design. Of his life so that the people that loved him could have that connection to the other side and he can change his [00:10:00] relationship with them to help them from the spiritual side and kind of offer himself in that way.

And so if you have experienced this in your own life, I would love to know how that has shown up for you and the ways that, that somebody who you had a relationship with as a human then assisted you on the other side. We see this happening all the time where we get help from the other side, and because we have that.

Human connection. It can. It can just act as a bridge where we feel we already feel close to somebody in their human form and it can kind of help to carry us into. A spiritual understanding and a spiritual perspective in life. So [00:11:00] in that way it is such a beautiful service that these, uh, these beings who, who leave us early, and it, it may not always be early.

It could be a grandparent. I've had that too, where somebody has had a long life and. And their life has come to an end. And then, you know, they, they act as that kind of in intermediary where they're helping to bridge us to the spiritual nature. But I. When something feels senseless in our life and confusing, these are the ways that I have felt and that I do feel with the grief that I'm dealing with right now.

Um, it just, it helps to clarify things a little bit. It helps to ease the heart a little bit [00:12:00] to consider that. Aspect, that soul aspect and how and the service from a soul perspective that benefits those on this side. So if you are going through grief, please know that my heart is with you. I bless you.
