What Awakening Really Feels Like | The Many States of Consciousness - Eva Müller

What Awakening Really Feels Like | The Many States of Consciousness - Eva Müller

Listen or watch

There is a common idea that the more spiritually awake we are, the easier life becomes. More bliss, more peace, more clarity. In episode 516 with spiritual teacher and energy healer Eva Müller, we explore a much more honest reality.

Eva generously opens the curtain on her own awakening journey through different states of consciousness. She shares what it was actually like to dissolve her sense of self in samadhi, to move through self realization, unity consciousness, and even the Brahman state, and how those experiences affected her nervous system, relationships, and everyday life.

She also guides a beautiful, activating meditation at the end of the episode that you can return to again and again.

If you have ever longed for deeper awakening but also secretly wondered, “What would this really feel like in my life” this conversation is for you.

Eva Müller is a renowned spiritual teacher and energy healer who has worked with thousands of people from all over the world. After undergoing her own profound spiritual awakening through various levels of consciousness and healing her human system, she now guides others on their path.

She channels high vibrational divine healing energies and transmits them directly, helping people:

  • Release low vibration energies

  • Move through different states of consciousness

  • Connect with their true nature

  • Unlock their deeper potential

Her work is devoted to pulling people toward their personal highest truth and supporting a very real, embodied spiritual awakening.

Before her awakening journey truly began, Eva describes her life as “very normal.” She was open to spirituality, angels, and energy work, and she would occasionally see healers, but spiritual practice was not a regular part of her life.

What she did feel on a regular basis was a growing sense that something was missing.

She tried to fill the gap through all the usual ways:

  • Education and degrees

  • Work and earning money

  • Travel and outer experiences

Each thing worked for a moment, but the emptiness returned and even seemed to grow. Eventually she reached a point where she knew she could not keep living the same way. She felt unfulfilled and disconnected from her deeper purpose.

This honest recognition of “something is missing” became a doorway into her spiritual path.

Things began to shift when she took some time off and started to explore personal development and spirituality. She listened to podcasts, took online programs, and eventually found one course with guided meditations that changed everything.

During one of those guided meditations, her sense of self completely dissolved.

  • “Eva” disappeared

  • Her life story vanished

  • The problems, the earth, the usual reference points were gone

What remained was a vast, peaceful space filled with silence. Nothing was happening and yet it felt incredibly beautiful and deeply restful. She stayed in that state for a while after the meditation ended, simply resting in that peace.

Later she discovered that what she had experienced was samadhi, but at the time she did not have that language. She only knew that it felt liberating and that she wanted more.

This opened the door to a dedicated meditation practice and regular spiritual energy transmissions, and the journey into expanded states of consciousness truly began.

Mapping the States of Consciousness

In our conversation, Eva shares very clearly how her inner landscape evolved through different levels of consciousness, and she emphasizes that this is one possible path, not the only one.

Among the states she talks about are:

  • Self realization

  • God consciousness

  • Unity consciousness

  • Brahman

  • And later, a more integrated return of humanness and unconditional love

This kind of clarity is rare. Many people speak about awakening in very abstract terms. Eva gives a grounded, first person look at what each of these states felt like in her body and mind.

In self realization, Eva describes feeling like she was watching her life and her body from the background. There was still an “Eva,” but she was observed from a deeper place.

This brought some important gifts:

  • Patterns in her system became visible

  • She could see beliefs inherited from family or society

  • She started to distinguish between others’ truth and her own truth

There was a sense of more space around her experience.

Then came what she calls God consciousness, where the openings became more dramatic, especially in nature. She describes moments when she was running in the forest and it felt as if a door opened. Everything was glowing with a golden underlay and radiating divine presence.

For a time, her ordinary surroundings became saturated with bliss and divine love. These openings came in waves and then subsided.

Unity Consciousness and the Unexpected Challenges

Like many seekers, Eva once believed that reaching unity consciousness would mean the end of all her problems. She expected to live in constant bliss and freedom, free from difficulty and ordinary human concerns.

What actually happened was very different.

During a meditation, she saw and felt the boundary of the small self dissolve. Her sense of “skin” as a separate boundary flowed away, and she merged with all of creation. For a short time, it was light, expansive, and beautiful.

Then the energy that had been holding down old emotions broke open.

Without any clear external trigger, intense fear, anxiety, depression, and other low vibration emotions began to surge through her system. She describes:

  • Sudden floods of fear and panic

  • A deep sense of “dying” as the ego moved into the background

  • The feeling that her life story was being ripped out of her chest

  • Hypersensitivity to energies and presences in other dimensions

On the outside, she continued going to work and doing daily tasks. On the inside, her reality had completely changed.

This is such an important part of the conversation. We talk about how many of us long for higher states of consciousness, yet do not always recognize that expanded awareness often brings everything that is unhealed to the surface.

Awakening into unity can include facing personal and collective pain that had been hidden before. It is not a punishment. It is a clearing.

As the process unfolded, Eva noticed that some of what moved through her was not just personal, but collective. She could feel themes related to women, ancestral patterns, and societal conditioning.

Still, her focus remained on healing what arose, rather than analyzing it endlessly.

Over time, with dedicated healing and clearing, unity became more stable and less turbulent. Emotional storms still came, but they did not grip her for as long. She began to feel that she was no longer creating new karma and that desires were dropping away.

She also moved into a state where meditation and non meditation felt the same. Consciousness was steady regardless of whether her eyes were open or closed.

One subtle yet powerful shift that Eva shares is the way her energy began to flow. Before, she experienced her energy moving outward into the world. At a certain point, that changed.

The main flow of energy turned inward.

Her primary experience became inner. Outer life continued, but it felt like about twenty percent of her reality, while the inner experience held the other eighty percent.

This is a beautiful description of what it can be like when the inner field becomes primary. Life is still lived, relationships still happen, but the center of gravity is within.

Inside the Brahman State

Eventually, Eva moved into what she calls the Brahman state, which brought another very radical shift. This time, it was not about more bliss, but rather a kind of empty neutrality.

She describes:

  • No emotions in the usual human sense

  • No lower emotions, but also no big emotional highs

  • No sense of other people or herself as separate individuals

  • Life appearing like a movie screen at a distance

  • Whatever she was not looking at simply did not exist in her experience

There was no sense of family or friends existing when she was not actively perceiving them. It was as if her awareness was standing outside of creation, watching it appear and disappear.

From the human point of view, this can be very disorienting. She felt like an “empty body” moving through life, with little interest in conversation or interaction.

Again, she was grateful to have guidance and community, because without some understanding of what was happening, this state could have felt frightening or deeply isolating.

After about three months in the Brahman state, Eva realized that although there was a kind of profound neutrality, she missed the felt experience of love and connection. She also noticed that she was not able to show up in the same way for friends, family, or her partner.

From that recognition, she consciously chose to return to a more human expression.

In response to this inner choice, human qualities began to come back, but in a transformed way:

  • Not human love in the old conditional sense, but unconditional love

  • A steady joy of existence instead of emotional highs and lows

  • A natural curiosity about life

  • A deep inner stability that could not be manipulated by outer events

Love was no longer something that rose and fell based on what other people did. It was a constant, available to everyone equally, even as she still experienced a special heart connection with her child as a mother.

From here, she also began transmitting this light and consciousness more actively to others in her sessions, helping them move through their own states of consciousness and spiritual awakening in a more supported way.

The Guided Meditation: Golden Light and Divine Spark

Toward the end of our conversation, Eva offers a powerful meditation that you can experience directly in the episode. In it, she:

  • Expands the energy field

  • Fills the space with high vibrational light

  • Clears surface emotions and mental noise

  • Opens the central energy channel

  • Gently removes the mechanism that pulls you into past and future

  • Invites a golden light that awakens the divine spark within

She also brings in unconditional love through the heart and clears resistance to life itself, including fear of change and fear of the unknown.

You can return to this meditation whenever you want to:

  • Reset your system

  • Soften emotional noise

  • Reconnect with your true nature

  • Support your own journey through different states of consciousness

I highly recommend setting aside time to lie down or sit comfortably and receive the full transmission.

Integrating Awakening in Everyday Life

One of the most valuable parts of this episode is the way we keep relating these states to everyday life.

We talk about:

  • The tension between wanting “more light” and needing to integrate shadow

  • How awakening can surface old memories, trauma, and collective pain

  • The importance of support, guidance, and embodiment work

  • Why we cannot bypass our human experience

  • How expanded states eventually normalize and become “ordinary”

Spiritual awakening is not a race to the most exotic state. It is a process of becoming more whole, more present, and more aligned with truth, while still living in a human body and human relationships.
