Solar Flares, Northern Lights, and the 1111 Portal: How Cosmic Energy Is Affecting You Right Now
This past week has been one of the most energetically charged periods I have experienced in a long time. Between the intense solar flares, the geomagnetic storms, and the rare visibility of the Northern Lights across places that do not normally see them, there has been a lot unfolding both in the sky and within our bodies.
The most striking part is how all of this activity peaked on 1111, which carries powerful and well known energetic significance. Anytime we see repeating numbers, especially 1111, there is an energetic portal that amplifies the spiritual field around us. That alone already made November 11 feel meaningful. The dramatic solar activity layered on top of that created an even deeper shift.
My Personal Experience on 1111
I happened to be traveling home from Berlin on 1111, crossing six time zones backward into Eastern Standard Time. That meant my personal 1111 lasted for thirty hours. I was already feeling the impact of that expanded day, and then the most incredible thing happened.
As we flew over the Atlantic, the Northern Lights appeared right outside my airplane window (pic below). I was flying beside them, watching the aurora glow and ripple from a place I never imagined I would see them. I do not live in a location where the Northern Lights are visible, so experiencing them in the sky at eye level felt surreal and sacred.

Many people shared similar stories of seeing the aurora from places where it almost never appears. This was a major physical manifestation of energetic forces that usually remain invisible.
Understanding Solar Flares and Geomagnetic Storms
Solar flares are bursts of energy from the sun. When the sun releases a flare that is Earth facing, it can have significant effects on the electromagnetic field of the planet. This week we experienced an X5 flare, which is a very strong level of solar activity. There were several smaller and medium sized flares surrounding it, creating a sustained energetic pressure.
At the same time, geomagnetic storms were occurring. These storms happen when charged solar particles interact with the Earth’s magnetic field. The storms this week were strong enough to shift the magnetosphere and create the conditions that allowed the Northern Lights to appear in unusual places.
Energetically, these events affect us in many ways. Even if we cannot see the aurora, we feel the influence of these shifts. The physical display acted as a bridge that helped many people understand the energy in a more tangible way.
You may have noticed physical or emotional symptoms during this time. I developed a cold, which is not usual for me. There are many possible reasons. I was traveling, jet lagged, and exposed to cold weather. But I also felt that my body was moving through a deeper energetic adjustment.
Other people have shared that they are experiencing grief, loss, emotional intensity, big changes, relationship challenges, or financial instability. Many feel like they are being pushed out of old patterns and into new alignments. These energies often rise during times of strong cosmic activity.
Nothing in our lives happens in isolation. We are always moving within a larger energetic landscape. Understanding that the body, mind, spirit, and environment are interconnected helps us stay grounded during times of rapid change.
Why the Northern Lights Matter Energetically
Most of the time, the energetic shifts from solar flares and geomagnetic storms happen without a physical visual display. We may feel them, but it remains subtle and internal.
This week was different.
Seeing the aurora made the energy visible. It brought an external mirror to what many of us already feel inside. For those who are new to these concepts, witnessing something beautiful in the sky may serve as the first step in understanding that cosmic activity does influence human experience.
It was a moment that invited people to look up and remember that we live within a vast interconnected system of energy.
When intense energy comes in, your nervous system may not know immediately how to process it. This is why grounding practices are essential. A few simple ways to support yourself include:
• Meditation
• Conscious breathing
• Gentle stretching
• Walking in nature
• Taking a salt bath
• Drinking extra water
• Journaling any emotional insights
• Allowing rest
• Avoiding overstimulation
These may feel like passive practices, but they are much more than that. They help your system integrate new frequencies, clear old density, and stabilize into coherence.
You Are Not Alone in These Shifts
Many people are moving through major transitions right now. Some are facing losses. Some are letting go of old identities. Some are experiencing relationship shifts or internal awakenings. It is comforting to remember that you are not moving through these changes in isolation. There is a collective evolution happening, and you are part of it.
Cosmic energy does not dictate our lives. But it can create an environment that accelerates what is already ready to shift. When we understand this bigger picture, life makes more sense.
Whether you physically saw the Northern Lights or not, you were moving through the same wave of energy that made them visible. Your body felt it. Your heart felt it. Your soul felt it.
Allow yourself the space to settle, integrate, and breathe. You are moving through a powerful time of expansion.
