When I read Cynthia Sue Larson’s work, something stirs in the background of my life. Even without “doing” the exercises in her books, I notice synchronicities multiplying. The flow becomes magical, experiencing mysterious messages of gratitude, unexpected gifts, perfectly aligned conversations. That’s why I was so excited to have Cynthia back on the podcast to talk about her book Reality Shifts and the incredible power of mind-matter interaction.

How a Kundalini Awakening Transformed Everything

Cynthia’s journey into this work began with a profound kundalini awakening—an energetic activation of her body’s energy centers that shattered her view of reality. Before this, she had a physics degree from UC Berkeley, worked on NASA solar flare projects, and managed projects at Citibank. On the surface, everything looked “normal.” But after her awakening, she could no longer pretend to be ordinary. Telepathy amplified. Non-local events responded to her thoughts. She began seeing objects appear, disappear, and transform before her eyes.

Rather than suppressing these experiences, she embraced them, publishing Reality Shifts to share what she discovered: that our world operates more like a waking dream than we’ve been taught.

What Are Reality Shifts?

If you’ve ever lost your keys, searched everywhere, and then found them exactly where you already looked—this is a gateway reality shift. Objects can vanish and reappear. Time can bend, allowing you to arrive impossibly early without rushing. Sometimes shifts are subtle; other times, they’re shocking—like the day Cynthia and a friend both woke up with instantly curly hair.

These phenomena invite us to question the assumption that life is linear and fixed. If the rules can bend, what else might be possible—especially when applied to our collective challenges?

Quantum Science Meets Spiritual Awakening

Cynthia’s scientific background helps her bridge quantum physics with spirituality. She breaks down how the foundational assumptions of science—materialism, objectivity, locality, and determinism—are challenged by quantum findings. Non-locality, probability, and observer effects show that consciousness is woven into reality itself.

Her work blends this science with spiritual practice, encouraging us to explore questions like “How good can it get?” to open new probability pathways. By retraining our internal dialogue and beliefs, we can align with more loving, miraculous outcomes.

Higher Guidance and the Invisible Helping Hands

One of my favorite stories Cynthia shared was about hanging a heavy vintage bicycle in her garage. She felt guided step-by-step by an unseen intelligence, and the bike—usually a struggle—seemed to lift itself into place. She believes we have access to higher levels of ourselves and benevolent higher-dimensional helpers who can see into our reality and offer assistance.

These helpers can show up in flashes of light, synchronicities, dreams, or intuitive nudges—and learning to discern and trust them is part of our spiritual evolution.

Avoiding the Dystopian Timelines

Cynthia has also seen possible future timelines, including one where a central AI governs humanity in restrictive ways. But she is unwavering in her radical optimism, choosing to lock onto only the highest and most harmonious future for humanity. For her, there are no “odds” to weigh—only a steadfast commitment to a thriving, sovereign future. Hear more about that:
