Have you ever experienced an intuitive nudge so strong it changed the course of your life? In episode 465 of the Soul Elevation Podcast, I had the honor of sitting down with Peggy Oberthier, a gifted intuitive healer based in Australia whose story is as riveting as it is inspiring.

Peggy’s path into medical intuition began in the chaos of a prison riot. That moment cracked her open. She had already been navigating chronic physical pain and deep emotional distress, but the riot catalyzed a profound spiritual awakening. Starting from a place of skepticism and atheism, Peggy embarked on a journey of inner healing, studying meditation, exploring altered states, and eventually discovering her powerful ability to feel and transmute the pain and emotional blocks of others.

Becoming a Medical Intuitive

In our conversation, Peggy shares how her gifts came online during a powerful session with her mentor Patrice Christophe that changed everything. She describes being “tapped on the shoulder” by Spirit and encouraged to begin working with clients. What began as curiosity turned into a full-blown soul mission.

Peggy is what she calls a “transmuter.” She feels the symptoms of her clients’ pain in her own body, what she calls “mirrored symptoms” and then helps them release the energetic root. She describes how old trauma, past life wounding, and karmic imprints often lodge in the body as illness, tension, or chronic pain. Light Language and the Witch Wound

We also explored Peggy’s use of light language, a soul language that emerges spontaneously to clear and realign energy. Many of us carry what’s known as the “witch wound,” a fear of speaking our truth rooted in past lives of persecution. Peggy helps her clients move through this fear and reconnect to their own soul language, often unlocking powerful healing and transformation.

Karma and Spiritual Accountability

One of the most powerful parts of our conversation was about karma—not as punishment, but as a rebalancing. Peggy describes karma as a cosmic feedback system: whatever frequency we put out is eventually mirrored back. This is why self-forgiveness, compassion, and heart-centered awareness are so vital. When we judge others, we’re often projecting our own inner judgment. When we hold onto guilt, it anchors us to lower frequencies.
