Lion’s Gate 8/8 Portal: A Time for Manifestation, Reflection, and Peace
In episode 475, I reflect upon the Lion’s Gate portal, which arrives each year on August 8th. This energetic alignment is created when the Sun is in Leo, Sirius rises, and Orion aligns with the Great Pyramids. Combined with lunar cycles and solar activity, the Lion’s Gate offers us a unique opportunity to connect with higher consciousness and step more fully into our divine path.
The Energy of the 8/8 Alignment
Numerically, August 8th carries an amplified vibration of abundance and infinite potential. Spiritually, the gateway invites us to pause, reflect, and set intentions. It’s a moment to honor how far we’ve come while also looking ahead at what we want to create.
During this window, energy is magnified. It’s an ideal time to manifest, to meditate on your desires, and to consciously choose how you want to shape your life.
Practices for Working with Lion’s Gate Energy
Here are some of the ways I’m making the most of this energetic opening:

Spend time in nature — Put your bare feet on the earth, sit beneath a tree, or immerse yourself in water. Even a salt bath can connect you to cleansing and renewal.

Sacred geometry — Drawing, gazing at, or meditating on sacred geometry connects us with the very architecture of creation. For me, this practice has been transformative, opening new levels of awareness and insight.

Grounding rituals — Yoga, sound meditation, or simply sitting in sunlight helps integrate higher frequencies into the body.

Prayer and intention for peace — Beyond personal manifestation, we can also channel this energy toward the collective, praying for healing, safety, and abundance for all.
