What is Evil's Greatest Advantage?
In episode 484 of the Soul Elevation Podcast, I continued a conversation I began a few weeks ago about evil and the mysterious Wetiko mind virus described by author Paul Levy. In that earlier livestream I questioned whether evil even exists. For a long time I focused only on love and light and wondered if darkness was just a concept. Reading Paul’s book shifted my perspective.
The Wetiko mind virus is an ancient way of understanding evil. Its greatest advantage is simple: it thrives when we refuse to believe it is real. If we deny its existence, it spreads quietly through our culture, our systems, and even our own thoughts.
How I Came to This Realization
As I read Levy’s work I recognized my own journey. I used to think acknowledging evil would pull me into fear or judgment. Instead, I have learned that awareness is empowering. Pretending evil is not there gives it freedom to operate unnoticed. When we name it, we shine light on the shadow and take back our agency.
Balancing Awareness and Compassion
Recognizing evil does not mean waging war against it. I avoid an “us versus them” mindset and stay rooted in forgiveness and unity consciousness. Awareness and compassion can coexist. Shadow work allows us to see the darker aspects of ourselves and society without becoming consumed by them.
I also remind myself that we are supported. Benevolent guides, ascended masters, healed ancestors, and star family stand with us as we move through challenges. We never face the shadow alone.
Why This Matters Now
Looking at the world today, it is not hard to see examples of manipulation and control that keep humanity disempowered. Whether it is media narratives, corporate greed, or hidden political agendas, ignoring these forces gives them room to grow. Awareness is the first step toward collective evolution.
Moving Forward
My invitation is to stay balanced. We do not need to chase every dark story or dive down endless rabbit holes. Instead, we can acknowledge that evil exists, refuse to give it our energy, and continue expanding into higher consciousness.
