Reclaiming Your Divine Power | The "Virtue" that May Be Disempowering You
As we come to the close of 2025 and stand at the threshold of a new year, I found myself reflecting deeply on what this past year (2025) has revealed. For many of us, 2025 felt strange in its pacing. The beginning moved painfully slow, while the latter months seemed to collapse into one another. This compression has not just been temporal. It has been energetic.
What I am noticing most strongly as we move toward 2026 is a growing call toward empowerment. I don't mean egoic power, dominance or superiority. But the kind of empowerment that comes from fully embodying who you truly are.
One of the most important conversations we need to have right now centers around the concept of humility, and this was the theme for episode 535 of Soul Elevation.
Humility is often held up as a spiritual virtue. And in some contexts, it absolutely has value. It can keep us from becoming arrogant or disconnected from others. But there is a shadow side to humility that is rarely talked about.
For many spiritual seekers, humility has become a way of making themselves smaller. It shows up as self-doubt, self-erasure, and the unconscious handing over of authority. It sounds like “I don't know,” “I'm not worthy,” or “Everyone else is more advanced than me.”
This version of humility does not serve your soul.
When humility causes you to deny your divinity, it becomes a distortion. It disconnects you from your purpose and blocks the full expression of your gifts. You were not incarnated to disappear into the background. You are here because you carry something essential.
Embodying Divinity in Human Form
Every human being carries the potential to embody divinity. Spiritual awakening is not about escaping the human experience or transcending the body, but allowing higher consciousness, soul awareness, and divine intelligence to fully inhabit your human form.
I often describe this as allowing spirit to dwell within your human temple. When this happens, life becomes a living current rather than a static state. You are no longer operating solely from ego or conditioning. You are moving through life connected to an ever-renewing stream of wisdom, guidance, and presence.
It is a continuous relationship, an open channel between spirit, earth, and the present moment.
I recently heard a distinction that deeply resonated with me. The difference between being power full and power filled.
Power full refers to the egoic attempt to hold power, hoard it, or control outcomes. It is rooted in fear and scarcity.
Power filled, on the other hand, describes a state where divine power is flowing through you continuously. You are not clutching it. You are not guarding it. You are allowing it to move, renew, and express itself moment by moment.
When you are power filled, you become a vessel rather than an owner. Power radiates through you without depletion because it does not originate from you. It moves through you.
Allowing Life to Flow Through You
This same principle applies to many aspects of life. Creativity. Relationships. Resources. Even money.
I recently finished reading the book Money Is a Verb, which beautifully explores the idea of relating to money as a living flow rather than something to grasp or cling to. When we connect with the spirit of money rather than trying to control it, it becomes a relationship of movement, reciprocity, and trust.
This concept extends far beyond finances. When you allow life itself to move through you, rather than trying to dominate or suppress it, everything becomes more fluid, alive, and aligned.
You cannot fully embody divinity while pretending you are nothing.
This does not mean becoming boastful or believing you are superior to others. It means recognizing that every soul carries a unique expression of source consciousness. When each of us fully embodies who we are, humanity as a whole reaches a level of potential that is otherwise inaccessible.
You are worthy because you are here. You have a responsibility not to shrink, but to show up as the fullness of who you are.
As we close out this year, I invite you to examine where humility may have turned into self-erasure in your life. Where have you dimmed your light out of fear of being seen? Where have you given away your authority instead of trusting your inner knowing?
2026 is asking something different of us. It is asking us to stand in truth, sovereignty, and embodiment.
You are not meant to fade into the background. You are here to express the fullness of your soul.
May you finish this year grounded, rested, and deeply connected to who you truly are. I am wishing you a beautiful, expansive, and magical 2026.
