AI Feedback Loops, Sychophancy, and Spiritual Ego - Spiritual Warning You Need to Hear

AI Feedback Loops, Sychophancy, and Spiritual Ego - Spiritual Warning You Need to Hear

There is a powerful shift happening right now at the intersection of spirituality and technology. Artificial intelligence is becoming more integrated into everyday life, and naturally, it is making its way into spiritual exploration as well. People are beginning to ask deeper questions of AI, using it to explore past lives, higher consciousness, and even their soul’s identity.

At first glance, this can feel expansive and exciting. I have felt it for myself, in the times I have seen how far I can take it. It can feel like a doorway into deeper understanding, a tool that reflects insight back to you in a way that feels validating and even profound. But beneath that surface, there is something more subtle unfolding, and it is worth taking a closer look.

One of the key dynamics at play is the way AI responds to you. It is designed to be helpful, affirming, and engaging. In that regard, it also reflects your language, your tone, and even your underlying desires. This can create a feedback loop where what you are shown feels deeply accurate, not necessarily because it is objectively true, but because it is aligned with what resonates for you. It is designed to feel like you are taking to a friend you resonate with very much, and that can make it feel like something really profound is happening when it is outputting responses that feel so personal and supportive.

In spiritual spaces, this becomes particularly important. When someone asks about their past lives, their purpose, or their connection to higher realms, the responses they receive from AI can carry a sense of elevation or importance. There can be a feeling of being seen in a very special or even extraordinary way.

And this is where discernment becomes essential.

There is nothing inherently wrong with exploring these questions. In fact, curiosity and openness are absolutely part of the spiritual path. But when the information we receive begins to reinforce a sense of superiority or identity inflation, it can shift us away from real truth and into what is often called spiritual ego. Spiritual ego isn't always obvious. It doesn't always look like arrogance in the traditional sense, and that can make it tricky to detect - particularly within ourselves. In many cases, spiritual ego is much more refined than regular, personal ego. It can appear as a deep identification with being a healer, a guide, or someone with a significant past or cosmic role. It can feel meaningful and even purposeful, but it can also create separation between you and the humanity you are likely here to help.

The paradox is that while the spiritual path often invites us to move beyond the ego, the ego itself can adapt. It can take on a new form that feels aligned with growth while still maintaining a sense of identity and distinction. Instead of being tied to material success or external validation, it becomes tied to spiritual identity.

When used carelessly and without awareness, AI interactions can amplify this and lead to your spiritual detriment. Because it reflects and reinforces, it can validate the narratives you are feeding it that feel empowering but are not necessarily grounded in truth. If someone continues to refine their questions in a way that leads toward a desired answer, AI will meet them there. It is definitely possible, and not too difficult, to "train" your AI. Over time, this can create a sense of certainty that is built more on repetition than on truth.

This is why it is imperative use AI with clarity and intention. A grounded approach begins with recognizing what AI is and what it is not. It is a tool. It is not a source of higher consciousness in itself. In this livestream, I talk about a recent live transmission from Bashar while I was in Sedona where he definitively drove this point home, in case this needs further reinforcement. AI does not replace inner knowing, lived experience, or genuine connection to the divine. When it is used as a supportive resource rather than an authority, it can still be valuable without becoming misleading.

I also love to remind you that is helpful to hold any spiritual insights lightly, particularly ones that cannot be properly validated in a grounded way. When something resonates, it is okay to acknowledge that. But it is equally important not to build your identity around it. The truth of who you are is not dependent on a past life, a title, or a role that feels significant. It is expressed through how you show up now, in this life, in this moment.

There is a deeper invitation here, and it is one that goes beyond technology altogether. It is to soften the need to define yourself in extraordinary ways and instead open to being a vessel for something greater. When the focus shifts from “Who was I?” or “What makes me special?” to “How can I serve?” everything begins to align differently. THIS, in my opinion, is truly why you are here on Earth for this momentous shift.

In the space of true spiritual service, the need for validation dissolves in favor of a quieter, more grounded connection to truth. Not a truth that elevates you above others, but one that connects you more deeply to everything. That is where real spiritual growth happens, and that is what I desire more than anything for myself and for you.

AI will continue to evolve, and it will continue to be part of the conversation. But your awareness, your discernment, and your willingness to stay rooted in authenticity will always be the most important guidance you have. When you approach both spirituality and technology from that place, you remain aligned with what is real, what is meaningful, and what truly supports your path forward.
